I think Remus has perfected the art of doing everything one handed, when he remembers. But he has a habit of forgetting there's anything in his other hand and just dropping his crutch/cane on the ground.

He's also perfected the little kick to retrieve it off the ground without bending over.

You will never catch him using both of his crutches because he panics and doesn't know what to do when he needs to hold something.

(For Christmas one year Sirius got him a set of crutches that go all around the forearm (among other things) and Remus who's had to buy his own medical equipment and knows how expensive it is demanded the receipt for a WEEK so he could return them. He didn't use them for two because everytime he looked at them he'd feel overwhelmed with love and cry)

peter betrayed lily, too!!! everyone talks about peter betraying the marauders and while, yes, they were friends for years and years, lily was their friend, too. she called him “wormy” and cared about him and trusted him enough to let him be responsible for her son’s life.

peter was lily’s second friend who joined the group that wanted her dead. and it’s so tragic because her death came because of these betrayals, too. snape was the one who told voldemort about the prophecy and then peter was the one who told him how to get to her.

Sirius is the type to realize pretty quickly that Remus has a crush on him and he's like yikes, that's gonna be weird which turns into Remus is kinda pathetic, like a wobbly puppy kinda way to why is he kinda...he's kinda adorable...to dang I think he's cute, I think I like him. And then he's like, since he likes me and I like him, I guess we're dating now.

Sirius is the type to forget to tell the person who likes him that he likes them back, and just, assumes they are dating.

So wolfstar is just, one sided established and one sided unrequited. Remus is hardcore pining pitifully and Sirius is like, yeahhh we're so in love and cute.

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

i just don't think that people should have to disclose their deepest and most life-ruining traumas as a requirement to write about sensitive topics

people who think rjl would have really good grades have never been chronically ill and had to miss school consistently because of it. I'm sure he was smart! I'm sure he did really well on tests! but there has never been a character I'm more sure struggled to achieve the academic success that he was capable of.

literally doesn’t matter what your point is when you said it! using disability as a reason to prove someone’s unattractive is in fact ableist, and your entire post is about how he’s a loser so yeah it is related. you’re right, people are weird about young people being physically disabled sometimes, including you right now with this post…this post isn’t calling out ableism, it’s including disability in a list of reasons most people don’t find remus attractive and/or reasons he’s a loser

Sirius: “No I’m normal everyone thinks Remus is the hottest person alive”

Remus: excuses himself from a party after 10 minutes bc he wants to go knit. Wearing the most heinous jumper even your grandfather would shy away from. Blacks out after one (1) beer. Dies if someone makes eye contact with him. Sits awkwardly in the corner trying not to cry when he has to stay in a party for too long (fails every time). Bones pop 87 times every time he stands up. Cannot sit on the floor or he will need to be picked up bc his back is so bad. Asks Sirius + James + Peter to kiss his booboos bc his mummy used to do it and it made it feel better. Always has at least 3 books on him but needs Sirius to carry them bc he’s too weak. Hates smoking bc he’s worried about cancer. Very awkward. Loser.
