Quickly being reminded of how much Martin Blackwood really is the character of all time. He faked his CV. He’s a serial arsonist. He has mommy issues. He got pissed at his boyfriend for killing their boss without him. He gets the hots when said boyfriend kills monsters with his eldritch horror powers. His love language is tea. He’s got psychopathic tendencies. He writes poetry. He made up a fake middle name for no reason. He’s gay. He’s fucked up. He’s even trapped in a modified version of Windows NT 4.0, a business focused predecessor to Windows 95. I can only hope to one day create a character so iconic.

ok here's my hot magnus protocol theory: the gifted kids program was really a program meant to find a new archivist (which explains why gerry (eye-aligned) and sam (EYE-ALIGNED, SPEEDRUNNING GETTING HIS ASS CEASELESSLY WATCHED) were there) (and could also explain the artifact storage category of 'catalyst') and [error] is a failed archivist trapped beneath the archives until sam and alice unknowingly freed them.....

also sam still searching for answers for why he wasn't chosen even all these years later to the point where he has the voice of the ceaseless watcher's former special little boy egging him on tells me he may have been a better candidate for archivist than the institute realized. which. bad news for sam. great news for us, the viewers.

literally my favourite thing about lena kelley that keeps being proven again and again as the series continues: she does not give a fuck and is just doing her job. no morals. no plans. no personality. go girl, give us less than nothing. cannot find it within me to believe she's the big bad when she's literally an empty shell of a person repeating someone else's lines back at the person she used to be. she is nothing. she's everything to me.
