Alright it's Black History Month and I'm tired of white people seeing this holiday as "just something black people celebrate." If you're white and you actually care about racial equality in this world then YOU SHOULD CELEBRATE TOO!

HOW? Donate to black organizations, shop at black owned businesses, take care of the black people in your life, make conscious choices to deprogram yourself from white supremacy, read and share black history, listen to black voices, and follow black creators.

Here's a list of black organizations that you can donate too:

No matter your answer, you have another opportunity right now.

We are a group of LGBTIQ+ refugees struggling to survive in Sudan. Every day, we face unimaginable persecution, violence, and rejection. On top of this, we are battling severe shortages of food, medical care, and shelter.

Hunger is a daily reality. Many of us go days without food, and medical assistance is nearly impossible to access. Our shelters are small and inadequate, leaving us exposed to harsh conditions. For lesbians, even basic sanitary products are out of reach.

With your help, we can change this. Your donation will go directly toward food, medication, and urgently needed tents to provide safe shelter. No amount is too small every dollar makes a difference in our survival.

🌍 Please donate today and be part of our fight for survival. Your kindness can help improve and even save our lives.

This is me Aya.. ‏🇵🇸

Imagine you wake up with nothing left. That's exactly what happened with us .we moved from having everything to having nothing. In a blink of an eye ,we lost everything, our house ,dreams, memories belongings and our works. We are starting from zero and need your help to climb the leader step by step from scratch.

All the positive words cannot express how generous you are, especially in sharing my posts to inform other donors about the people of Gaza who are still suffering from the terrible conditions caused by the unjust war on Gaza!

Please continue to support us by donating directly or by sharing the link to let others know. Don't hesitate to help people in difficult and miserable times until the dark days are over. 🙏🏻🍉

My friend is surrounded by the army

My Friend Is Surrounded By The Army
My Friend Is Surrounded By The Army

The IOF has given my friend Abed @mohmad5 and his wife @safa-abed seven hours to leave before bombing starts.

They are crouched in the rubble of their former home waiting to die.

The road costs $1000 per person. I have no hope of getting him this without help. Please do what you can for him.

Vetted #47 (his wife is also vetted)

additional info:

-> “why wasn’t this book listed?” probably because it wasn’t black sapphic-centric, the author isn’t a black sapphic themself, or i just simply haven’t heard of it! so feel free to add on if it meets those two criteria

many of these books require trigger warnings, especially some of the older ones that are more likely to feature racial struggles of the time. please do your due diligence and search for tws if you want to read them!

please feel free to add onto this list in the rbs or comments! happy black history month
