My Thoughts Are Deep

My thoughts are deep

My memories shallow

My intellect curios and hyperactive

My Ego fragile, attached and rigid...

I feel too much

Yet I don't feel enough.

So you can see the problem

With asking me what I think.

When you know what is N.O. and when it's O.N. for you, life gets considerably better. Not that I know for me...just sayin! (It is something I keep relearning everyday)

HEADCOUNT...the power of a shift in perspective
Skeletons in the closet? I've got heads on the library shelf!

this is an article I wrote for Vocal.media, a lovely platform for blogging where writers like to unload their creative impetus. this one is about past experiences and personal flaws and how your shortcomings and limitations can serve as a design tool for your personality and life.

On the issue of feminism and modern men's loss of grounding.

I read somewhere that feminism for women has raised the bar for the kind of man they will settle for. And us men have to catch up on this bar by being more excellent.

First off, it isn't women's fault if men have been kinda lost since the advent of feminism.

Second, I don't think women really have raised that quality bar for them selves overall. They still get together with jerks, gangsters and abusive uninspired men in general, just because they still have their fundamental instinctual needs for romance and excitement not met buy the modern gentle overthinking metrosexual men (... well not JUST because of that of course, but you get the point).

And third... there is a bar that has been raised due to women's emancipation over the last century and I think that is only good for everyone.

Why should anybody in their right mind not want to be more excellent!? So thank you women.

Among other things feminism has allowed more sexual choice for everyone even if it confused all the generations of men after its arrival (not that women have it all figured out of course).

Female emancipation has been the catalyst of male emancipation too I believe, and the fact that is pushing us to more excellence is not a problem AT ALL but a resource and an incentive.

Writing as an excuse for adventures
Writing, or any kind of art, can be an excuse for doing things you want to and exploring stuff you are into in more depth then you would usually do, so that you can then write about them!

Go check my latest and dearest article on Vocal.media. It talks about the symbiosis between writing/arts and life adventures, passions, personal interests and how to leverage this relationship to your advantage as a creator.

Sometimes when you are stuck and don't know what to do, just start with doing anything and see what happens. You can always readjust later (me to myself)

So watch me fail in vlogging, going through trying to find a topic, butchering a Shakespeare's monologue and ending with a fake cockney accent to round it all up nicely. it was fun though 😂

[…] The Phantom That Runs On Before You, My Brother, Is Fairer Than You; Why Do You Not Give To It

[…] The phantom that runs on before you, my brother, is fairer than you; why do you not give to it your flesh and your bones? But you are afraid, and run to your neighbor.

You cannot endure yourselves and do not love yourselves sufficiently: so you seek to mislead your neighbor into love, to gild yourselves with his error […]

Friedrich Nietzsche - excerpt from “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”

I find this quote devastatingly insightful. What does it mean to you personally? To me it means this image:
