He didn’t have many. But those he had were true and he held them dear.
The invasion of Rafah is imminent. We all need to be prepared to do what needs to be done from protesting, blocking ships carrying weapons from leaving ports, disrupting the lives of politicians supporting this, to donating and boycotting.
All eyes on Rafah.
Based off from the painting Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan
Instead of the father killing his son out of wrath, Nikolai kills Fyodor out of his desire for freedom and later on regrets it. I have nothing else to say here except that I love FyoLai angst <3
*Nathaniel and Marc are chatting, Rose gives Nathaniel advice*
Rose: Ask him something.
Nathaniel: A-alright.
Nathaniel, texting: How are you feeling today?
Marc (Text): I’m fine.
Rose: Something more personal.
Nathaniel: Okay.
Nathaniel, texting: Do you already have your period?
Rose: Boys don’t get those.
Nathaniel: But... but Alix, she... she
Marc (Text): Two years ago.
Do you ever stop and think of how Chuuya's life before the PM was one of constant violence and brutality?
Do you ever think about how this might be Chuuya's first experience of actual, gentle touch since he'd been picked up by the sheep??
Do you ever consider that the reason he looks so shocked aside from his ability getting swept away, is because this isn't a chokehold or a preparation to attack, but a mere hold?
Do you ever think about how No Longer Human might have taught him that gentle touch can be just as powerful as violent ones??
Oh, by the way,
Do you ever stop and consider that the reason Chuuya was reeling every time him and Dazai closed proximity isn't only because he doesn't stand Dazai but also because he absolutely hates the contact?
Do you ever think of how Dazai might have known how much Chuuya wasn't used to gentle touch and tormented him by doing shit like this just so he can see Chuuya's visceral reactions every time?
Do you ever imagine Chuuya trying to get used to gentle touch and even try to initiate some as payback?
And how he's come to appreciate and embrace it by doing so?
Just a lil creature

I love bbc merlin so much because despite the variety of plot points that drive me insane they’re all needed for everything to play out correctly.
I hate that Merlin’s magic isn’t revealed till the very end but also recognize how incredibly powerful he is that if everyone knew their external threats just. Wouldn’t be a threat anymore.
And I hate that Arthur never repeals the ban on magic but if he did than Mordred wouldn’t have had a reason to turn and the finale would fall flat.
I can’t stand Agrivaine but I understand that Arthur being betrayed by him is necessary in order to make Merlin’s perceived betrayal hurt more. That it serves to break down Arthur’s confidence in a time where he only trusts Merlin, who brings him back to himself. Then to realize that foundation of trust he’s had has been wrong and that he has literally been deceived by every single person he lets get close to him.
I hate how they ruined morgana’s character and while I still think it could have been done with more nuance, there is literally no major antagonist besides her. Plus she’s such an interesting one because of her connections to everyone before she slipped.
I hate that merlin tries to kill her, especially like that, and so early on. I get why he does it, and I get that it’s necessary to break morgana’s trust in him. I get that the whole point is that every choice he makes is to try and stop things and he does the best he can every single time, and it’s still never enough.
I don’t always like how we get there but GOD do I love the tragedy of it. For a show that’s so happy on the surface the tragedy of knowing there’s nothing any of them can do to stop the ending is SO GOOD.
It’s devastating to watch merlin lose huge pieces of himself, watch his morals change and shift, watch as the lines he won’t cross get pushed farther and farther away. He loses so much of himself to save Arthur and he STILL LOSES ARTHUR.
And listen I can and I will complain about some of the goofy ass plots but it’s so important to me that people recognize the seriously tragic narrative at the Center of it. I could go on for AGES about how each and every one of the leads is doomed by the narrative.
Zosan where after his accident in drum island sanji thinks zoro will consider him weak because of the scar he got on his back
What if he avoids sharing his bath with him when they get back on the merry? What if he refuses to get changed in front of him and decides that being called prissy is better than being judged for his weakness? What if he refuses to go swimming on the sea when they dock on summer islands and instead stays on the beach wearing his full suit while zoro stares at him like he's grown another head?
And what if zoro finds out about the scar after sanji gets injured during battle and chopper has to remove his shirt in front of everyone to start accessing the damage he suffered?
Sanji wakes up in the infirmary to the sight of zoro staring at him with a frown and he immediately wants to run, but his whole body hurts and he can barely move
"You were protecting nami and our captain, you're not weak, you were strong for them. Just- be careful next time, think about yourself too. We can't lose you. I can't lose you."
Zoro murmurs the last part and it's all he says before he scurries out of the room, leaving an astonished and blushing sanji on the bed
