Friday Anime Line Up!

So these next three posts are going to be one after another cause I need to catch up three days of anime which is not easy to do in one day, but I did it dammit so here we go!😵

Tasokare Hotel

This underrated anime just keeps getting better and better as the season goes on and the guests get more and more interesting as we go! Finding out more about the main characters is really my fav moment in each ep though.🤭

The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season

So I saw someone complaining that all they ever do in this anime is try to kill the higher concubines and Maomao and Jinshi just figure out how and why. Um...yeah cause that how it was back then. Not the figuring out part cause honestly no one was worried about that as much, but it was that cut throat and honestly the Emperor could not give a shit like he kind of does in this one. That's why they had so many concubines cause there was always another one to take their place.😓

Okay back to the fun after that last mini rant. Our poor girl Alina can't catch a damn break no matter how hard she tries. Last ep was pretty serious so I love that this one was more light hearted and back to the comedy moments.😎

What To Do

So i've been trying to decide what to do with my blog here since I restarted it and I'm thinking of just sharing all the merch, cons, figures, and other Japanese related stuff i am into. I really do enjoy and respect the culture a lot and have an interest in almost everything about it!

I was slowly collecting figures for a while, but really got started during Covid when there were no cons going on. I pretty much just started to spend my saved con money on them and it took off! I believe I have over 50, if I include my Nendoroids, with more on ther way each year. Its a pretty bad habit that is hard to stop...not that I want to.

Also once a month I try to get to NJ where i have a little Japanese Mecca called Mitsuwa where I also spend waaaay too much money, but I have so much fun and get to see all kinds of foods and gadgets that i would love to own one day not to mention practically every ingredient I need to cook any Japanese dish I can imagine!

I may sprinkle in some family stuff like concerts I've seen with my kids not bandom related as well as other real life moment. I guess I will see in the future. Again not sure who is going to read this or take the journey with me, but if this is just a good way to keep my memories alive, I'll take it.

Saturday Anime Line Up!

Saturday would normally be my longest watching day but Thursday stole it this season, but its still pretty long.🤭

S-Rank Monster no "Behemoth" dakedo, Neko to Machigawarete Elf Musume no Pet toshite Kurashitemasu

I only had one complaint for this weeks ep. Was the last scene really needed? Like I know the ecchi is part of the anime but honestly we could have ended the ep with something else other than another bath scene so that we can see more random nakedness.🙄

Sakamoto Days

This weeks episode was kind of cute honestly. A hit man that was such a try hard and so sure that he deserved to be a hitman going after Sakamoto.😆

Babanbabanban Vampire

Gotta catch them all is just the new name of this anime for me. Now with Aoi's brother in the mix as well as Sakamoto sensei, Mori-san has so many choices for a midnight snack, but he is still saving Rihito as that fine wine to be opened at the perfect time.😎

A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu

I hate Thunder Pike like so much. All three of them are just trash and cannot see that they are the problem. I love that Yuke and Clover are now going for his childhood dream on their own terms instead of being strong armed by Thunder Pike. Can't wait till they find this out.😏

Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

We got Tusk! What a fight that was but man Tusk before he arose was not worth anything especially compared to the leader of the ice Elves. He bent that knee real fast!🤣

Something that happens to me a lot is when people find out who I am or what i write, they kind of fan girl and I don;t fully understand it yet. I mean i am flattered that they are a fan of my work, but their reaction alWays surprises me.

Saturday Anime Line Up

My internet was being such a dick today that my anime watching was so all over the place. It's like 10/2200 where I am and i still have four more anime left to watch before I can post!😫

Okay calm down First World Problems. Anyway, today actually had some really good episodes when i could watch them so I can count that to be a positive!😁

Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de

How can an anime go from making me groan from over done bad jokes to making my cry and need to grab multiple tissues? Ugh, its bad enough that I can't figure out the mysteries even though the clues are really there, I sucked at Encyclopedia Brown mysteries as a kid too, but for the real culprit to be a complete piece of shit that was only thinking of himself? This is almost as mind blowing as me realizing Kaji Yuki-san is the voice of Kagayama which is practically unrecognizable since it is pitched so low!🤯

Anne Shirley

When I was in high school I had a crush on this boy and he liked black hair. I always had dark brown almost black but I hated it and kept dying it shades of red for years. He was always looking at girls with black hair so I went to dye mine black and it was a huge mistake so I really felt for Anne. The dye was like tar and it ruined my hair for a long time. That guy ended up being an abusive jerk too that I had to get away from in the end. We all make mistakes in our youth. I guess that is the moral from both me and the anime.😅

Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru

I felt for Beryl in this one. That pain of seeing someone as a child in your eyes that has been hurt or abused and feeling helpless when you didn't cause the situation but now they don't trust anyone so they push you away. It's heartbreaking to go through but i am glad that in the end Mewi decided to at least give him a chance.😥

Kowloon Generic Romance

Wow. That was a lot to unpack. First poor Gwen. Miyuki is clearly being controlled by his dad. They had one night and then bam luggage. Now he's in Kowloon...or what we know as Kowloon. Yamae seems to be another anomaly and now that Reiko wants to leave Kudo-san lost it for a second. We are finally getting more piece to this puzzle and as to what that thing is in the sky too. Curiouser and curiouser as Alice said.🤔

Kuroshitsuji: Midori no Majo-hen

Wow, that was closest Ciel ever got other than the end of S1 to be one with Sebastian. He said 90% but we know...😏

Anyway...Ciel is back and in Hakushaku form so this village has another thing coming if they think they will be chasing out the Phantomhive household. Oh and Ciel was cute asking everyone to forget he was acting his age for the last few episodes. Like we would.😉

Looks like the arc ended and now we get some comfy slice of life for a bit. I know we are going into the next dungeon with the prince but I'm not sure if that will be a full arc or not. Either way, I like the chill time before the next big adventure starts.😁

Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi

I ended up eating late so I naturally put this one off till I did and man was I smart to! Even though it seemed pretty tame of food for most of the episode all that seafood and the barbeque on the beach? I was drooling! Imagine if those oysters were clams though! Ugh, raw clams are my fav but I stay away from them now cause with the warming of the oceans you can get really sick now sadly.😩

Man that took forever to finish. Damn wifi. It took so long that some of my anime from Sunday already came out in Japan!😕

Fuck yeah!

I am going to miss this man.

Worked out for the first time since before surgery today. Worked with a trainer and set up a safe routine to start getting back my physical strength. Felt pretty good! 😎

Thursday Big Anime Line Up!

Thursday is my biggest anime watching day for the entire week this season! When I work, which I didn't today if you saw my blog yesterday, I usually need a nap afterwards and then I only have a few hours till dinner and D&D so it is really hard to make sure that I can get in all of the shows without waiting till after game when I am exhausted and have trouble concentrating or I am too hyped up from the session and...I have trouble concentrating...first world problems I know.😵

Anyway, here is my Thursday line up and these are in the order that I watch them too!😉

Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san

My number one new anime for this season just keeps getting better and better! Now that outside influences are involved it makes the story even more interesting! Also it is clear which route Anna is on but we won't tell Grace that.🤭

Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE

With Tsukasa and Senku we had brain vs brawn and now we have brain vs brain with Dr. Zeno and Dr. Taiju...? Nah I'm kidding but it is really funny that he thinks that is his nemisis when Taiju can't even spell nemesis and neither could i the first time so I'm just gonna leave it there.😆

Trillion Game

This is another underrated anime continuing from last season that I feel everyone is sleeping on. At first I was taken back by the art style but now I am so invested in the characters that it isn't even a thought anymore. If you enjoyed Great Pretender, then you have to check this one out too!😎

Arafou Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu

Many are making fun of this one cause they think that its already been done with Campfire, but this has a different type of charm and kind of unexpected things are happening especially in this ep! People are also bothered by the fact that the beast race is both full beast and ones with human faces but if that is how the mangaka wrote the manga/novel who are we to judge them? They have an anime and we don't so yeah.🙄

Momentary Lily

Don't say anything. I always at least try to check out the new Go Hands anime each season and I am enjoying this one so shush. Plus the OP is amazing and my daughter and I are going to see them in concert in March!😎

Fuguushoku [Kanteishi] ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta: Naraku de Kitaeta Saikyou no [Shingan] de Musou Suru

I am isekai trash, but I don't have as many as i usually do this season so fantasy is just as good. I really resonate with Ein our protag cause he is shit on for most of his life for being an appraiser and before you attack and say that how is that a shit skill, if there are people that can just cast a 0 lvl spell to appraise anything than what good would having that as your only skill be and nothing else?😓

Also I don't think that he is too OP cause like Hajime in Arifueta Ein went through hell and nearly died to get what he has so he earned it all. His only cheat is that he has his MIL practically telling him what to do all the time which is not always the best idea and I am sure would get annoying if you think about it.🤔

So there you have it. My biggest anime watching day. Now I am off to finish dinner and *surprise* watch more anime...just not seasonal.😄
