how to know you are only consciousness

you are consciousness. you are not the body or the mind or the ego or the thoughts or experiences; those are what you think you are, they are the false self because the real you is....consciousness.

nothing can exist without you being conscious of it first. things exist because you are aware of them and as consciousness, you are always aware and can only be aware. for example, you are aware of these words right now right? 10 seconds ago you were not aware of the wall or sky above you so it did not exist to you 10 seconds ago. most likely, you are now aware of the wall/sky bc i pointed it out so now, the wall/sky exists to you. you are consciousness/awareness and you are always aware of something.

since you are always aware and things only exist when you become of aware of them, the only thing you are is awareness = consciousness.

"you" are looking at your screen right now and "you" read these words but what is the thing that acknowledges or notices that the screen is there or that the words are there? consciousness, awareness. look at "your" shirt or hand or an object and tell me how do you know its there. you might say its because you see it with "your" eyes or you feel it on "your body" but that would be incorrect. you are only consciousness; you are not the human body. the shirt and words are there bc you are aware of them; you (consciousness) are observing them. i use quotations on the "you" to emphasize the fact that this human body is not you, that is your false self:

(human body, ego, emotions, thoughts = false self ; consciousness, awareness, the observer, imagination = your true self, identity)

let me give you another scenario: let say you cannot see anything, you cannot hear, touch, taste, or smell anything. you would still be aware and know that you are still present because you are always consciousness and you are always aware. the removal of the five senses and human body cannot remove the fact that you are awareness. the five senses do not matter because consciousness is all there is. if there was no human body, you would still be aware because consciousness / awareness is your true identity. think about it though: if there were no five senses, you would still be aware. this proves that the five senses are not you, the human body is not you, consciousness is what you really are and only are.

let me speak more about the human body and thoughts, emotions, etc. when "you" (your false self / human body) experiences pain, that comes and goes therefore its temporary. you, consciousness, is only aware of that pain and when you think you are the human body, you think that you are experiencing this pain which is false. let me give you a personal example: one day i was sitting on my couch doing my homework and everything was quiet but i got up and i kicked down my big ass metal water bottle that was on the floor and it fell over and made a really loud noise. since i forgot the water bottle was there and because i got scared of the sudden noise, i literally heard and felt my heart beating so loud. at the same time, it was raining quietly outside and i remember hearing my heart beating but i thought no, i hear it bc im aware of it so i turned my attention to the sound of rain outside (i became aware of the rain) and when i did, i literally didnt hear my heart beating anymore bc i was not aware of it and i was aware of the rain instead; my beating heart did not exist in that moment. then i became aware of my heart beating again instead of the rain and i heard and felt my heart again and not the rain.

the point of this story is that, that "pain" or "feeling" left once i was not aware of it anymore. it was temporary because my true self (consciousness) was not really feeling that pain; the false self felt the pain of "my" heart beating only because i was aware of it. same thing applies with thoughts, they are temporary, they come and go while consciousness never leaves. "you" think you are the one who thinks these thoughts which is false. why? ... because you are only awareness. these thoughts exist only bc you are aware of them. as consciousness, you can only be aware, you can only be the observer; you cannot experience pain, pleasure, etc. you only observe, be aware of that pain and pleasure. the ego is also the false self. ego = thoughts, beliefs, emotions. when you think that learning about non dualism is hard, that the ego that makes it seem hard to understand, thats not the real you (consciousness).

now you know that you are not the human body, you are consciousness that is observing, being aware of the human body and those so called experiences and feelings, etc.

✰ YOU’RE INDUCING FOR CERTAIN, RIGHT? ✰

a lot of you subconsciously doubt yourself, let’s talk about it

stop with the “just incase”, just stop. “I’ll save this post to read just incase i don’t induce the void.”

“I’ll do this tomorrow just incase I fail.”

“Another day in my shitty reality after an unsuccessful night, I hope this is my last day here” (how many times have you said that, may i ask?)

“Just incase I’m not doing right, i’ll check some more posts.”

how many times have you gone through this cycle, waking up after an unsuccessful night hoping it’s your last in the shitty life you live, doomscrolling hoping it clicks for you with each paragraph you read and then “attempting” to “enter”. And when you “fail” to induce, you go back around this cycle.

Inducing pure consciousness doesn’t require a day of “good self concept” or affirming till your brain is mush. However, it helps to have a mindset of knowing, that this IS your last day here in this shitty reality. Knowing that you aren’t going to try you’re going to do. Knowing that there is no “what if i don’t make it” or “just incase i fail” because failure doesn’t exist for you. Being firm instead of wondering if it’s going to work can help a lot.

There is no trial and error for you, stop going into this inducing process “hoping” you’ll do it. Seeing “if” it will work tonight. There is no “if”, “maybe” or “just in case”. There is no attempt and fail for the operant power, there is no trial and error for a god. You just be and you just do. Idc how long you’ve spent in this community there is no week, month or even year long process of trying and failing, because it’s not needed, this isn’t some developmental arc, it’s instant.

You must know that you are inducing for certain. This wavering relationship isn’t helping

There’s no “i’ll try tonight”, if you have decided that tonight is the night then it is, if you have decided you will use this day to shift consciousness then you will. there is no “just incase i don’t” nope, not a thing when you’re a god.

so kill that thought of trying, as soon as you found out about the law you found that you control everything, so why are you trying, attempting, hoping for something in a reality where you control everything, where you can just do? it’s almost as if you think whether you induce the void or not is based on external factors, because if you knew it was you who holds the power you wouldn’t be trying, you would just decide that inducing is simply something you can do.

and i feel like this is a reason a lot of you procrastinate, you’re holding off failure so you don’t let yourself down, but why would you fail if you know it’s you who owns all the power in this reality and it’s riding on you to induce. why would you fail if it all rests in your hands.

you do know it’s you, right? you’re inducing for certain, right? a lot of you need to reevaluate what you actually know about pure consciousness because this “trying” and “failing” to induce wouldn’t exist in your reality if you understood

“you’re so beautiful, my love.” satoru grins, love adorning his face. you were currently getting ready for a work party, satoru says he was too tired to go to and he didn’t wanna “show everyone up” so he decided to stay home. you smiled at your husband through the mirror, giggling at his compliment. after all these years, you still don’t know how to respond to the way satoru showers you with compliments.

“ugh, satoru!” you whine, flopping on the bed next to him. he looks at you with curious eyes. “i don’t wanna go.” you whine, reaching out for his slender yet warm hand. he intertwines his hand with yours and he smiles, bringing the back of your hand up to his puckered lips, giving your knuckles a kiss. “you’ll be fine, baby. you look amazing and i’m sure you’ll have a great time, yeah?” he coaxes you, fiddling with the hem of your dress. you sigh and scoot to the edge of the bed, your head hung low in exhaustion. “you’re right. i guess i’ll go.” you grumble, standing up and sliding into your kitten heels. satoru follows closely behind you as he watches you get ready to leave like all the times before.

“you always look so beautiful when you leave me. makes me feel a tad left out.” the ivory haired man teased, bringing you back into his body by the small of your back. you chuckle and shake your head, bringing a hand up to caress his face. “i’ll be back before you know it. we can even finish that episode of the good place if i’m back in time.” you smile, kissing his lips. you walk away from your husband and open the door, waving a with a little “see you later.” mixed in there.

this is when satoru realized, he was sad you were gone. he loves his wife, and he loves the way his wife makes him feel. satoru wouldn’t have it any other way.

the room was quiet except for the sound of your heavy breathing as you sat on the edge of the bed, pulling the blanket up to cover your exposed body.

satoru leaned back lazily against the headboard, his shirt discarded somewhere on the floor, his sweat-slicked chest rising and falling as he caught his breath. white hair clung to his forehead in damp strands, and his lips curled into that smug grin that always made you want to throw a pillow at him.

“you’re so annoying,” you muttered, your cheeks burning from the aftermath of the whirlwind he’d just put you through.

“me? annoying?” he tilted his head, acting innocent , though the glint in his eyes said otherwise. “you weren’t saying that when I was knuckles deep in ya, huh?” his voice was low and teasing, sending a shiver down your spine.

“satoru!” you hissed, reaching for a pillow and chucking it at his head. he caught it easily, laughing as he tossed it aside like it was nothing. “do you ever shut up?”

“not when you make those sounds,” he continued, unphased, rubbing his chin thoughtfully as though recalling every detail. “god, i can’t get enough of that squelch noise.” he even emphasized it with a pop of his lips, which earned him a glare sharp enough to cut steel.

you threw another pillow, but this time, it hit his chest with a satisfying thud. “your disgusting.”

“and you love it,” he quipped, his grin widening as he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “don’t act all shy now. you weren’t exactly quiet about how good it felt.”

your jaw dropped, and you searched for something, anything—to say that would shut him up. but of course, he always knew how to leave you flustered and speechless. he took pride in it.

“you’re annoying,” you muttered, burying your face in your hands to hide the blush creeping up your neck.

satoru leaned closer, gently prying your hands away. “c’mon, don’t hide that cute face from me.” his tone was softer now, though the mischief in his eyes hadn’t faded completely. “you know I live for this.”

“for what? embarrassing me?” you shot back, though your voice lacked the venom you intended.

“for making you feel good,” he replied, his voice dropping an octave as he reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. “and for watching you try not to smile when I tease you.”

your lips twitched despite yourself, and he caught it instantly. “see? there it is,” he said, leaning in to press a kiss to your flushed cheek.

“you’re the worst,” you said, though it came out more like a defeated sigh than an actual insult.

“and yet, here you are.” he smirked, pulling you into his lap with ease, his arms wrapping around your waist. “admit it! you love it when i talk dirty.”

you rolled your eyes, but the warmth spreading through your chest betrayed you. “i tolerate it,” you said, trying to sound indifferent.

“liar.” he nuzzled into your neck, his breath hot against your skin. “you’re already blushing again.”

you groaned, shoving at his chest half-heartedly. “i hate you.”

“no, you don’t,” he murmured, his lips brushing against your ear. “but nice try.”
