Do not really know what to say. A year ago we were making posts about how Gaza was being bombed through Christmas- how the oldest Christian community was being bombed- how the birth place of Jesus was being destroyed and his people murdered. A year later, it is going to be Christmas again soon, and the bombings have not stopped. But the news, and the attention seems to have died down considerably. It feels terrible and scary.

Questions I think to myself a lot when confronted with certain kinds of Online Posting:

Do you want a better world, or do you want revenge on those you think aren’t doing enough to improve it?

Do you want a more just world, or do you want to see bad people suffer merciless punishment?

Do you want a less oppressive world, or do you want the reins of power for yourself?

Do you want to do the right thing, or do you want to feel righteous?

I don't trust anyone who hasn't acknowledged their capacity for evil.

you guys know you can just dislike things right. you dont have to find a reason that ship is bad, you can just Not like it. you can just say "fucking hate those guys" and move on. it's okay. this is not a failure on your part to have a preference

Yeah, I was hesitant to say anything at first, but then I saw the hand (which, as said, has two knuckles blending into one finger...something like that is almost always a tell for ai) I don't even know why they're using ai and passing it off as their art when they clearly can draw (they've posted traditional art). I hope one day they just post their own art, I'm sure it'd do fine on tumblr...
