im gonna say it, and if youre white you do not get to comment, but in regards to that j-siper pocahontas au and the people in the comments of that post calling op out for whitewashing piper, i feel like we are focusing on the wrong thing here. just a little bit. the au itself is fucking abhorrent because it puts piper in the position of a girl, pocahontas, who was barely a teenager when she was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, married to a man against her will, and in the end, she died extremely young, and very far away from her home and family. disney took that story and romanticized the fuck out of it, to the point where it is unrecognizable. this movie perpetuates violence against native women. stop fucking making pocahontas j-siper aus.

Percy doesnât know how to do this.Â
He should know, right? Itâs Annabeth. The girl who he held at the bottom of Siren Bay, who kept him from dissolving in the Styx. He held up the sky for her at fourteen, but he canât make a move on her now that sheâs his girlfriend?Â
But itâs Annabeth, and he wants to do right by her. He knows her, sure, but he wants to know her in this new light, this soft glow of almost-love.Â
They sit together on the dock, their toes teasing the lapping waves that glint in the setting sun. Annabeth leans back on her hands and tilts her head to soak up summerâs swan song. The water slaps the dock like a kick drum underneath the cacophony of camp in the background. Itâs more chaos than anything, but itâs music to Percyâs ears: the survivors all in the same place for the very last time.Â
Itâs that thought that drives Percy to reach for Annabeth, even if itâs with trembling hands. Sunlight caresses her with a bravery Percy doesnât quite have yet. Someday he will touch her just as gently.Â
He lacks finesse, but his fingers slip between Annabethâs steadily enough. She eyes open slowly, her pupils adjusting to the brightness and then dilating once more at the sight of Percy. Heâs half expecting her to laugh at him for grabbing her hand and staring at her all doe-eyed, but she just beams.Â
For someone who said she wouldnât make things easy, Annabeth is an easy person to be sweet on. Her cheeks betray her, turning as red as the strawberries growing in the distance. Sheâs just as saccharine, just as soft and homegrown. Itâs easy to slip a hand to the soft skin of her neck, to tilt her jaw, to press his lips to hers. She tastes like nectar, a home that warms his chest. She tastes like healing.Â

âWoah,â Percy says. âThis place is gorgeous, Annabeth.â
Annabeth smiles at the expansive mansion that stretches up to the sky before her. âIt is pretty great, isnât it?â
âItâs insane,â he says with a laugh. âAnd I thought your Montauk house was obnoxious.â
âYou werenât calling it obnoxious when we were having sex in every room,â she says pointedly.
âSince you brought it up, how many rooms does this house have?â he asks playfully.
Annabeth bites her bottom lip, tilting her head as she looks at the house. âThirty-four on three levels. Thirty-five if you count the ballroom.â
âYouâd have to be an idiot to not count the ballroom.â
Annabeth laughs, relaxed and at peace in a way that sheâs only ever felt around Percy.
âWell, câmon,â he says, playfully pulling her towards the house. âWe are way behind schedule.â

âMen come West for one of two reasons, theyâre looking for something, or something is looking for them. Which are you?ââŠ
âŠâLooking for something,â he says.
The Sheriff tilts her head back, looking down her nose at him. âWhatâs your name.â
âPercy Jackson.â
âWell Mister Jackson, youâre full of shitâŠâ

Jason hates to admit it, but the city library is, hands down, the most beautiful building in the whole city. Itâs three stories of white marble and reflective glass surrounded by lush green gardens that have the local botanical society swooning year round, create an oasis in the heart of the downtown district that cannot be beaten. Olive trees line the long walk way up to a series of grand walnut doors hand carved with depictions of wildlife that look so real they might jump right off the wood, giving anyone who approaches the air of a grand entrance.
Leaning against one of the buildingâs imposing Doric columns, Jason looks out at all the people enjoying the lawn, having picnics and playing with their dogs and he canât help but remember Lukeâs words about Annabeth not being the villain he thinks she is. Watching the people of his city that he has taken an oath to protect, the thought that maybe heâs right begins to creep in, but before it can settle, his shoulder is being bumped, pulling him from his thoughts. He frowns and looks up to find his partner, Reyna, donning her signature brown leather jacket over a royal purple blouse.
âTook you long enough,â Jason teases.
âSome of us actually have a life, Grace,â she says with another nudge.
Jason rolls his eyes. âYeah, yeah, yeah, letâs do this.â
He leads the way into the library, stopping abruptly to read a golden plaque that marks the main entrance:
This library could not have been possible without the generous support of local businesswoman, Athena Pallas. The passion Ms. Pallas has for Greek architecture and the pursuit of knowledge were the foundations of this project and this city will forever be in her debt.
Reyna scoffs, âBusinesswoman is quite the generous title.â
âNo kidding,â Jason adds.
The detectives enter the library and neither of them can help but be awed by the interiorâs beauty. The slight gleam of the gold leaf crown molding catches their eyes, their eyeline following down the wall to the bookcases with delicate owl carvings and the olive leaf patterned carpeting.
âAt least she had taste,â Jason says in a low voice.
Reyna shrugs. âI prefer a Roman aesthetic myself, but this isnât too bad if you like the Greek thing.â

(OR) a swimmers au where they are friends with benefits forced to fake date but it's all really a trojan horse because it's a chance for Percy and Annabeth to face some of their mommy and daddy issues fr <3

At the core of conservatism is a hatred for democracy and the will of the people. They think only the elite should have a say because they are deserving, and then only certain elite.
Hi, just want to let you know Indonesia is currently fighting against bills that are overwhemingly anti-abortion, pro-corruption leeway, pro-deforestation for palm oil industry, papua-colonializing etc. And just like Hong Kong, the police are abusing the college-age protesters.
Not to mention, there is huge forest fire in Sumatra which is most likely similar to Amazon case, where it is deliberately lit for corporate's interest.
