These Two Scenes Match The Energy Lowkey

This is my favorite Sterek scene.

Abomination: a thing that causes disgust or hatred, an atrocity.

Stiles - a HUMAN, one that didn’t hesitate to make dog jokes to Scott when he got angry - showing Derek with certainty that being a werewolf is normal. It is NOT an abomination. They are not monsters; Derek is not a monster.

Derek - who watched his family burn, who was manipulated to the point where he hates himself so completely - listening to this human recognize the difference between wolves and monsters. Even more so than Scott, who is scared of himself and of Derek and whose sense of morality is indistinguishable from Derek’s self hatred.

Scott may be a werewolf, but Stiles understands what it means.

Add to that Stiles finishing Derek’s sentence and Derek taking a FULL 5 SECONDS to just stare at him in surprise before responding, with only a weak nod, still in shock.

Stiles may have just held Derek above water for hours, but this is the moment that made Derek trust him.

If I had a nickel for every time Dylan O'Brian ends up in a ship where:

1) the love interest slams him against the walls

2) the love interest chases him when Dylan's character runs into danger

3) he holds up his love interest and helps him escape from danger

4) he ends up with the love interest hurt and with black veins from of a not natural "poison"

5) he and the other actor go along with the idea of the ship

6) the ship is not officially canon but still it's the most famous ship of the show (despite his being in a canon straight relationship)

I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

When @isthatbloodonhisshirt posted My Name is Derek Hale and I saw the tag 'time loop', I cannot tell you how excited I was - I love time loop stories - and as soon as I started reading chapter two i thought 'man this is a cool visual, I bet it'd work pretty well as a comic'. And hey. Who's got two hands and a can-do attitude towards comic projects? This fella.

So here we go! I haven't done a long-form comic in more than a decade and I'm still figuring out how to draw the boys but doing a comic is always an ongoing learning process (: (part of that learning process is doing covers which uhhhhhhh is going to be at the end of the chapter for Reasons)

(Also Stiles' alarm choice is totally on me, bless Ella for giving the go ahead lol)

okay, not to go off on comments from, like, literally over a decade ago. but that anyone ever looked at peter saying that he didn't think stiles would survive the bite because stiles was possessed by the nogitsune and looked like he was dying yet somehow came to the conclusion that peter was being a hypocrite because he offered the bite to a perfectly healthy stiles back in s1. or even that peter was trying to kill stiles back in s1 when he offered him the bite as if the entire problem with trying to turn stiles when he was possessed wasn't that the possession was already taking a massive toll on his body which significantly lowered the chances of him surviving the bite.
