I've had a lil itch to write a (kinda) short fanfic of sorts, so yeah, this is just that. Gaz and reader finish eachother sentences or something like that.

Reader & Gaz btw (not really romantic partners)

You and Gaz were, and still all, childhood friends. Having met eachother due to being neighbours and then always hanging out, the first never seen without the second. You both had even enlisted together and stayed friends this long.

Right now thoug, you were at the bar with the others from the team, celebrating a job well done after the mission had gone well and controlled.

You were all talking, drinking and having fun.

"So, what do you all reckon we do after this?" Price spoke, smiling as he looked around at you all.

"I say we go to another bar and get piss out drunk." Soap said in a thicker scottish tone then usual, the alcohol in his system probably making it so he speaks in a more scottish tone.

"No Johnny." Ghost's rough voice spoke as he gave Soap a disproving glare.

"Or we could just-" You spoke, before Gaz spoke over you, making you speak over eachother.

"Go back to base and play cards." You both said in unision, Gaz's voice slightly louder then yours, making it sound like he had wanted to finish your sentance for you.

The guys looked at you both, a slightly confused look on their faces from hearing Gaz practically finish you sentance.

"You rehearsed that shit or something?" An already drunkened Soap said as he raised a brow toward you and Gaz.

"No, she's just really predictable." Gaz smirked as he glanced toward you before looking back at Soap.

Now you're all back at base, like you and Gaz had said. You playing cards, poker to be exact, with Gaz being in the lead, and you were last. While Price was second, Soap fourth and Price third.

You all played for about another 10 minutes before you got a royal flush in which made you win the entire game despite having been last.

Gaz immedietly glared at you, obviously mad that you had beat him. He then opened his mouth, starting to speak.

"How? I swear, you-" Gaz said before you spoke over him in a mocking tone.

"Always win over mke its not fair." You smiled proudly at him before speaking again.

"You, my dear Gaz, are just as predictable as me." You smiled at him as you began to shuffle the cards again.
