This is just to reiterate, his shield is not vibranium. It is just a metal disc that you can see him wind up his whole arm and shoulder to launch as hard as possible. When you see Sam or Steve throw the official shield it’s so much easier to flick out, not much power required. There are so many Peter Parker headcanons that I think is so adorable that the entire fandom (mostly mcu but also comics) just came together to unanimously agree on

Or the fact that people took the traits of actual spiders and just slapped them on him

it’s gross that every aroace character’s identity is seen as a threat to fandom… that it becomes a battle of semantics and excuses to find ways to ignore it… maybe think about why a character not feeling romantic or sexual attraction (and possibly not being interested in those relationship/partnering) is so scary to you… why it threatens your enjoyment of media/fandom…
