The best visual gag in any piece of media was the giant vault door concealing a normal-sized door in Portal 2
When absolutely 0 of Biden’s accomplishments have made any kind of news, and we’ve been fed a steady diet of fear and panic for 3 years, no one gets to be shocked when he loses the next election to Donald 2.0.
Posting anything positive about the president here will get you called a capitalist bootlicker.
What do we expect to happen?
Anger sells better. Anger feels better, it feels righteous.
It’s easier to protest against a president you don’t like then to actually remain in charge and keep pushing ahead, even if small, consistent accomplishments are all you receive.
Very happy and proud to be polyamorous. I love loving people and building long lasting relationships with other people. Nobody can ever make me feel ashamed for how much I love others.
Gyurie: [shows up to deal with Kumoko]
D, breakdancing: Is he bothering you, Queen?
I'd phrase it more this way: it is made to remind everyone (mostly white people) that being queer, trans, or nonbinary is in no way tied to being white. Ex. Trans is not white which means being trans is not tied in any way to the white skin color, which some people tend to *forget* about. And this post is to *remind* them.
Although this is just a different phrasing of the same thought, I don't disagree with you.
Also, it would be cool to see an ND version.
Waitwaitwait. Do you mean, like, the fan hum + disc clicking? Or do you mean actual electronics humming? Because I can definitely hear my PC, but I can't hear my phone or my charger like some people can.
There's no way neurotypicals can't hear discs working and fans humming and their pc in general. They cannot think it's actually silent. I refuse, it's impossible.
the fact neurotypicals can’t hear the electronics hum doesn’t sit right with me. they’re such strange creatures. what do you mean you can’t hear the computer going babdbbsjsbsbhmmmmmm? it’s very much there! in fact, at times it’s too loud and i cry over it! you have to be able to hear it!
My mother says that fanfiction doesn’t count as reading because “it isn’t nearly as good as the stuff that’s published. You’re not going to find something online that will win a Booker Prize.” Please reblog if you count fan fiction as reading, or if the fanfiction you’ve read is equally as good as published novels. I want to see the figures.
thinking about how in ancient times, at least people knew that the lives their children would lead would….vaguely resemble their own???
People have always fondly reminisced about The Good Old Days and complained about Kids These Days, of course. But—and I cannot stress this enough—when my mom was born the Internet did not exist.
Disability aids, medication, food, water, shelter...
It's almost like we should care about people.
fyi things like insulin, hearing aids, wheelchairs, glasses costing money at all is a form of structural ableism
