But, they want everything from you. They want unrestricted unquestioned access to exclusive female & gay male spaces... they want to control how others refer to & perceive them... they want complete commodification of the language on how we talk about biological sex... and they want silence, punishment, & ostracisation for those who disagree with them in any capacity.

Of course we can empathise with the trans struggle & be respectful of medial things like an individual's pronouns & making sure all people have a seat at the metaphorical table, but when we're called "transphobic" or "fascist" for saying biological sex is real, women face sex-based oppression, and that lesbians & gay men aren't interested in the opposite sex, my respect has its limits. You will not run around screaming transphobia while being misogynistic & homophobic at the same time.

thinking about when a very attractive young woman wearing a home depot uniform posted a completely normal selfie on her twitter and then when it blew up men were immediately asking “when’s the OF dropping??” and when she said “I would never make an OF” a bunch of OF creators were upset about it and acted like this woman not wanting to do it was a personal insult toward them

the way everyone felt so fucking comfortable trying to push and guilt this woman into joining OF is just another reminder that if even one woman has a price tag, the rest of us will just be seen as products that haven’t been put on the market yet

female spaces being compromised into free-for-all “gender neutral” spaces (while male spaces are left untouched)

medically transitioning children

presenting medical transition as the only route for dysphoric people

pressuring dysphoric and/or gender-nonconforming people to identify as trans

erasing gender-nonconforming women like joan of arc from women’s history by claiming they were transmen

erasing gay figures like marsha p. johnson from gay rights history by claiming they were trans

Excluding the crucial fact that office jobs pay you an income….if staying home to raise children and do chores and bake bread was really so much easier and more joyful than working in an office on some objective level, why aren’t men doing it? Why aren’t they chomping at the bit to be ~leisurely house husbands~ to a working wife? Why aren’t they stepping up to depend solely on someone else’s income in exchange for round-the-clock domestic labor, if it’s really as blissful and their propaganda suggests? Curious.
