At the end of the day of painting these are the results of doing the blue and the red only the shield and the main blue pieces have gotten a coat of gloss on top of them and you can really tell how smooth and crisp these colors look very happy with the way these came out :3 <3

Old school HG kit has hat holds up pretty well.
Also also I am talking about the us version! A. It refused to represent people of colour B. it's dipiction that the only gay relationships worth having are those that value sex/what is considered sex above deep and meaningful anything (TLDR Just find a cute boy and fuck them and everything will be OK) now I understand that, that kind of mentality comes right after the HIV/AIDS epidemic and I 100% AM NOT trying to invalidate that experience but I would like to see the community evolve but I feel like this show puts a stamp on this way of behaving is ok from here till forever. But Let's start on the thing that everyone is uncomfortable with RACE. This show is racist period point blank, no it doesn't have to say it is, no one has to run around the show in a white sheet, no one has to run around saying the "N" word (nutella its delicious) The show not being able to show people of colour but calming to be a reflection of community is an issue (Also also spoiler there are black people in Pittsburgh) or only showing a person of colour when they needed to talk about HIV/AIDS ( not the best look jan) is also something that again a big show like this lets bleed out into the community it self, setting a precedent for other shows like it and community understanding. (TLDR; you can't represent the community without people of colour [thanks Marsha P] and saying you do is disingenuous, and when you try to use people of colour its to talk about HIV/AIDS only that ain't it chief) Next up Sex is like the currency of worth. So I think his name was Ted in the show he was the one who couldn't find his prince charming because he was sexually unattractive to......everyone in Pittsburgh. The show pushes this narrative that your worth in the community is based only on how much someone whats to have sex with you and if you dont you're worthless which is an attitude that the community has been echoing more and more today. (TLDR; if I dont want to bang you then you must not be worth my time) The impossible standard of beauty, now now before you say anything please know that i get it's a T.V. Show and people dont want to watch not actor pretty people, i really do, HOWEVER This attitude that you need to have a twink body be blond with blue eyes to find your prince charming..........that should be a no from all of us, this narrative that you have to be this level of hot to have a place in the community. ahem THAT IS A CROCK OF SHITE DONT YOU BELIEVE GURL! ( i dont think that part needed a TLDR) Look, im sure the show did a lot of good for some people, im not trying to attack the good it may have done for you but it did a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of harm too and we need to be able to say that. Thank you for cuming ( see sex joke) on my ted talk
So this is where i’m talking about my two favorite anime conventions. Katsucon is my birthday convention (it always falls on my birthday) and Otakon that’s the place I figured out that I was gay, I had my first gay kiss there.
This is a chest piece and I decided to mask off the top portion because it's going to be red like the very top portion where the jewel sits
So this is the next step the flat flesh paint looks so good next to the red and soon will be a good accent for it the next step is to build the shoulder pads.
The master plan is to build them and then paint them black.
