Taylor Swift 10/26/23.
Tempted to write a season 2 fic that throws both historical accuracy and show consistency out the window and has Theo say "fuck it" and leave work to visit Eloise at her house. He shows up in his work attire and Anthony is all "what the fuck who are you and what are you doing at my house" and Theo’s like "I’ve come to call on Eloise" and Anthony, who’s already on the verge of a mental breakdown because of Kate and Edwina, just goes "fuck it, it’s your funeral" because surely his sister will eat this man alive, right?
But then, they actually seem to like each other. And not only that, they seem to know each other...and that’s when Anthony officially loses it.

I'm on a gg/dair renaissance and I blame you entirely 😂😂😂
LMAO I will gladly accept the blame! Also, Dair is literally Modern Theloise so the renaissance was bound to happen eventually. 😅
BRIDGERTON UNPOPULAR OPINION
I like they made Francesca lesbian instead of Eloise, imo they break the stereotypes this way.
In one hand they show that a “feminine” girl (I mean it under the hegemonic idea of feminine and masculine) can be a lesbian. Thats important because there’s A LOT of people who still believe that a lesbian has to be a women dressed as a boy, like sexuality had anything to do with anything else besides sexual preferences. Sexuality it’s not a mold of personality and I appreciate every representation of that we can get.
On the other hand, by not no making Eloise a lesbian they also break the stereotype that EVERY feminist women it’s a lesbian, like feminism was about hating man and hence a feminist shouldn’t be attracted to men. I kinda feel making El a lesbian could lead to that stereotype and downplay her political believes, like her denial to fit into society was about her dislike of men and not about her dislike of a whole system were women are given so little opportunities.
There’s a lots of people who still see thing that way, reducing lesbians to male wanna be and feminists to man hater, like everything had to be about men in some way, so I highly appreciate the representation of lesbian and feminist women outside that stereotypes.
I feel like every time I come on here to post a snippet…it’s for a new WIP. 😭
