Since Anita has a Shark pink bedspread, it could symbolize that she is in love with a Shark (Bernardo)

And Maria has a Jet blue bedspread, could symbolize that she is in love with a Jet/ex-Jet (Tony)

Anita and Maria have similar bedspreads, but while Anita’s is a sexy Shark pink, Maria’s is a playful Jet blue.
