Sorry, but the art I’ve been uploading Has Not been done in 15 minutes. I chose this name to encourage me to draw more art. It hasn’t worked, and now I am spending hours trying my best for perfection on my Note 4!
I went waaaaay back to 2014 and redrew a digitized sketch of one of my favorite pieces of http://fav.me/d7btnv3 that I http://fav.me/d7d8loh . Egophiliac encouraged me way back when to keep drawing and made me feel really good about my art, even if it was based on the work of others.
One day I will find my own style! Until then, more screencap redraws inbound. And maybe more redraws of my favorite old art using my new Note8 phone!
Holy wow, I am so happy with the progress I made while drawing this! Simple backgrounds and highlights and shadows make it look %20 cooler! Although looking at it zoomed out, I notice Spike is all 3D, and the cactus is too flat. Also, I omitted the sweat and drool, since being in the desert with no water means they're dehydrated! It's certainly not because I haven't figured out how to draw water effects yet!

Dinkleberg! I wanted to do some redraws from the MLP movie, and I couldn’t resist Pinkie’s face. I’ve got almost 300 screencaps from the first 30 minutes. I’m using a Note4 and stylus (and taking way longer than 15 minutes), but I’m getting a Note8 soonish. I really like the faces they make and their eye design!

Another Lyra, and Bon Bon too! Taken from another great pony video that never fails to pick me up: Liar Lyre [MLP Animation]: http://youtu.be/VrkhMwtKYKE I forgot how much longer it takes to draw two ponies at the same time! Who needs sleep? This took way longer than expected, but I'm extremely happy with the way things turned out. I've been tweaking settings and my technique in Artflow, and I feel I'm making some progress! I'm especially happy with Bon Bon's coloring, as I learned to do a better job inking before flood filling.

I've wanted to draw Lyra dancing ever since I saw the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPpgMeeXKa4#t=102 I picked this pose to start, but there's lots more gold to mine out of isaiahdjstuff 's all too short video. For now, all the drawings I post to this tumblr will be drawn in Artflow on my Note 3 with the stylus. In hindsight, I should have made my canvas bigger, but I was trying to keep the same size as the gif I took the stills from, since I was going to eventually try my hand at animating Lyra's dance a little. After this static drawing, I think I'd better leave that to more capable people, and practice my drawing!

Get well soon, Teej! piratedashmod I heard the author of askpiratedash was sick, so I was inspired to draw again. I'm happy with Nurse Redheart, but not so much Teej. I need more practice. Sorry it took so long. Got a new drawing app for my phone and had to learn how to use it! Finally, I can do landscape again!
