Gwuncney Headcannons

no one stopped me so here we are

·       They do date nights four times a week.

·       They do three dates in pairs. Duncney. Gwuncan. Gwourtney.

·       Duncan and Courtney like to do traditional dinner dates.

·       It’s on nights Gwen’s art classes run late so she would be missing dinner anyway.

·       Followed by walks around the city, finding new places.

·       Duncan and Gwen always do music store dates.

·       They find this cute independent music store in the city and they get friendly enough with the owner that he lets them play whatever album they want on the store speakers.

·       They come home with a new vinyl every time.

·       Gwen and Courtney do more artsy things together.

·       Museums, art galleries, etc

·       Sometimes library or bookstore visits. They both love to read but have vastly different tastes.

·       For their fourth date they do something together.

·       It’s almost always a movie night.

·       Duncan and Gwen rave over the horrors.

·       Courtney pretends she hates them because of bad plot lines but they always hold her hands when the jump-scares get to her.

·       Courtney picks documentaries

·       Or chick-flicks.

·       Depends on how bad of a week she’s had.

·       Duncan does most of the cooking at home.

·       He loves to cook for his girls.

·       His signature dish is chili.

·       And he loves it spicy.

·       Courtney loves it spicy.

·       Gwen likes it with three glasses of milk on the side.

·       (I’m so sorry to make her a basic white girl).

·       They love to do roadtrips on the weekends.

·       Duncan is always the driver.

·       Courtney oversees the radio.

·       Gwen controls the snacks.

·       Courtney likes to preplan the trips, picking out all the best places to go and making an itemised to-do list.

·       Gwen likes to see a place in person first before she decides what to do in it.

·       Not having a plan sets off Courtney’s anxiety.

·       Duncan is happy to follow them around with a goofy smile on his face, very rarely interfering with the plan (or lack thereof).

i feel like so many people mischaracterize duncan in the context of courtney bc like yeah hes a lovesick loser but he is first and foremost an asshole. his love language is class two felonies. that man is not doing a couples costume and matching his pocket square to her dress. he is wearing ripped jeans to the black tie event. he is vandalizing shit in the parking lot. he is embarassing her in public. she keeps trying to attach a leash to his dog collar and he is biting her repeatedly. he is not up to date on his rabies vaccine. hes been banned from every country club in a 200 mile radius. she cant take him anywhere. do u get it
