Midnight moonlight,… Tell me your secrets

Skullflowers became a definite thing this spooky season, which feels very nostalgic to me because I used to do stuff like this when I was younger and still just starting to really practice drawing.

The Palm House and Botanical Gardens of Copenhagen

A certain wildness, in the silence of winter. Plants overgrown and intergrown; white paint peeling off metal rails, a tangle of branches over narrow paths: you must brush aside the fronds of palm leaves as you traverse these gardens. Outside, the skies are grey and the ground is nearly frozen, but though the trees are bare-leaved, the grounds are covered in places by the brightest green clover.
