Feedback accepted and appreciated. I don't bite. Honest. Inspired by the part in Dracula where Mina turns back to human when he dies, so here the vampire narrator ends their own life to set their lover free. Thanks to @academic-vampire for asking to read my writing and for introducing me to the format! You can read his sestina here.
@blackforrestpunk I'm holding you responsible for this
Look, I know I own a cat ears headband and a furred cat-eared hoodie, and I draw a lot of cats, but-- I'm not escaping the allegations, am I?

I loved going through your comics (and doing a bit of ✨️research✨️ in your art archives) to put in the little details, and listening to the album too! I thought this was the perfect song for Erik, and I'm so glad it's among your favourites when I (discreetly) asked!
Look what i've got from @purrlockswatson !!! I bought the goober cats advent calendar and payed a bit more than i should. And i got this!!!
Ahhhhhhhhh it is so soooo cute!!! And look at the details!!! Erik with his guitar and rose hoodie!! Chrissy wrapped up in a blanket, and they are listening toooo florence + the meowchine!!! Guess the song ahhhhhh 😆✨ guess the album ❤️🔥
And last but not least, sasha!!! Sasha the raindeerdog. I die of happiness.
Erik feels a bit lonely on Christmas.
(Let me make clear that I only ship Pharoga on condition that they are a fluffy perisan cat and a bald gremlin sphynx cat. But in this particular case, I will do it often and obnoxiously.)
Erik DOES cook chicken. The meal is canon, people. More (very canon) Pharoga cats here!
WIPs. I sure hope we never see any Phantoms other than a cat Phantom wearing duck swimming trunks because, oh boy, is that cursed!
None-cursed (or at least less cursed) cat phantoms here!
The person who wrote this question was in my walls, I just know it!! I felt very, very seen - in a good way. (Ignore the side-eye medaeival owl. He doesn't know what's going on.)
That's from Neuropsycology Dorset's autism screening test. I'm not surprised to find that I'm probably not neuronormal, but I didn't expect to score that highly in both the ADHD and autism screening. C'mon, brain!
I'm wondering if I should get a formal diagnosis; I'm not sure how much help it would be. I know it varies according to person, so if anyone has experience in this, do let me know!

Making a Nosferatu bag. Paused and went, "Oh no, it's Bitsy!"
Do you see it? Yes?
Yes.
Vampire Bitsy:
I was reading POTO in French and remembered that this existed, and everything seems a little less bleak. Thank goodness for art.
I sometimes wonder if I'm selfish for spending my time and life on something so immaterial as art. I forget that it's what keeps me sane.
It's not escapism; it's a fight to understand. Immaterial is not the same as useless. It's easy to forget these things.
(I intended this reblog to be a joke about how I've forgotten Erik is French - I imagine him having an RP accent after watching the musical - but I got punched in the face by a dose of Doom and Gloom so here we are. Apologies.)

Thank you, @frommarshtheycome @blackghostm2o & @vladimirsangel for the tags, I'm honoured 😭 10 favourite films in GIFs:
Im made you a mini fanart (sorta) :3

Thank you so much for your amazing art!! Erik looks so confused about his small cat fiend friend! "Daroga, what should I do with it? Can I put it in the Torture Chamber? Can it live on the Iron Tree to menace the guests?"
Aaahh, such a lovely, lovely surprise, thank you, Ange!
Please take good care of my book, Innocent, that's a first edition.
Ask Vlad before booping his snout: I can't guarantee your safety.
This is Innocent, a furry monster who - Oi, what are you doing? Give that back!
*Ahem* I'm still alive. Anyway, that's a needle felting needle. The red stuff on the end is NOT blood, although I did stab my fingers a few times and may have made some accidental blood sacrifices to the small woollen creature. Should I be worried?
(I've also made a sculpture of him)
