GET IN ON THIS, IM MAKING A POSTERRRRR
✦❤✦ THE KICKSTARTER FOR AGENTS OF THE REALM HIT ITS FUNDING GOAL ✦❤✦
Gosh gosh gosh!! Thank you all SO MUCH for your support so far!! Last night the Kickstarter managed to hit it’s initial funding goal of 17K! The kickstarter campaign, however, is still running and will remain running until March 2nd so I’ve got LOTS of stuff planned for the extra funds to go towards!
Are you looking for an easy way to show your Magical Girl pride? If the Kickstarter hits 20K, I’ll be getting 1.5″ Enamel metal pins made so you can let the world know exactly how magical you are!
If the Kickstarter passes that…
Everyone who pledges in the tiers $50 and above will get a chance to upgrade in order to get their hands on limited edition prints made by these wonderful artists! I was lucky enough to get @wscottforbes, @quantumqstar and @mattahan to agree to create absolutely gorgeous artwork in honor of Agents of the Realm. I’ve been getting peaks at the works done so far and let me tell you, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on them!
From there, the funds will be going towards making the book even more shiny and magical than it already is!
Hitting 40K means everyone who pledged in $30 or above gets their softcovers upgraded to be foil embossed!! Talk about a perfectly fitting upgrade.
And the last stretch goal is a Foil Hardcover Upgrade available for everyone who pledged in tiers $50 and above!
The campaign still has 22 days left! Let’s keep this ball rolling!
I love animated music videos and I love 70's inspired graphic design and I love clever combinations of 2D and 3D animation and I love this!

Hey there! I've chosen the recent SPG Poster art you created for Fan Art Friday this weekend - it's spectacular! I generally reblog these from the person directly, but your post includes the word "hell," and we generally avoid any sort of cursing in what we post. As of now, I've set it up to reblog with the paragraphs you added removed, so it'll just showcase the art. I hope that's okay! If you'd rather I not reblog it at all, please let me know! It'll post Friday at 12pm PST.
lol I don't mind if you remove my several paragraphs of blathering, I can't help but inflict that stuff on my own blog/followersHow are y'all enjoying the poster? I still haven't actually printed a copy for myself cos I can't stop spending money on cosplay. It is an addiction
Worldbuilding = the best topic in the history of mankind. I'm kind of obsessed with making races and cultures and such. My question for you is do you think there's a limit on how many different races/cultures you can have in one world without making it busy? Whenever I make a new race I tend to shove it into the same world with all the rest. Those two small-ish continents and random islands seem rather... packed. Do you think it's a better idea to have different small worlds with a handful of races each or a giant world with lots of land but also lots of different cultures and races running around all over the place?
I totally think its a matter of personal taste, but MY personal taste is to avoid having too many because then you'll never have time to show them all off! In which case the only solution would be to revisit your world in lots and lots of unrelated stories... which is a totally awesome thing to do too though.
So I have... seven races in my fantasy? And sometimes that feels like too many because my story is alll about elves. And then I feel almost as if I tossed the other races in there instead of bothering to add more culture and history to the world, or just an excuse to make crowds in the background have more interesting shapes and faces. It might be helpful to figure out what evolutionary niche your races fill, and if there are a bunch in direct competition with each other, to consider combining them into a new race that has all your favorite aspects, or moving some to a new headworld? That's just my thoughts though.
As for my other stories they just feature regular humans with the occassional demon, alien, or robot, so I don't think that really counts.
Ohhh my gosh I love your art KEYBOARD MASH MASH MASH do you ever think you'll do commissions again?
I am IN FACT taking commissions at this current juncture in space-time! $33 icons, $66 portraits, $88 3/4 body pinups! 30 dolla up front for latter two, paypal only, email aysha.shehim at gmail dot com. Please provide a staggering wall of text description and ref images if possible.
Feel free to help me be a slightly-less-starving artist. It's slightly less cliche! D:

I hijacked this before it was finished and attacked it with my personal clip art collection to aid in MAXIMUM NOUVEAU \o/ I can be very... enthusiastic about such things. I love so much how it turned out, WE MAKE GOOD TEAM <3
working on a color based battery life indicator, just got the colors mapped to analog input yaaaaay
I learned a lot working on him... I don't finish things much and then when I do perfectionism can still get the best of me UGH. I definitely added enough hair for hugeness! But my teasing skills arent up to snuff and it kept collapsing immediately queue sad deflating balloon noise 8C Some problems I didn't forsee with insistence on ponytail, he is heavyyyyyy which is an amplified problem when all of the weight is exactly at the back yanking head constantly backward. I didn't add what seemed like THAT much extra hair (its basically 2 wigs worth) but like a dummy I forgot that LENGTH adds weight too. I think also trying to tease out hugeness from small origin point provides no base of support for the hair to stay huge. I... don't want to give myself a literal headache to wear it but I tried it on and it makes me feel SO! FUCKING! MAGICAL!!! BEAUTY IS PAIN I have some ideas to make it huger AND a little tiny bit lighter but it means unstyling, washing, and ripping out some of the wefts which... I want to do because theres an entire can of hairspray in him and I think I can redo with less and avoid such a rough crunchtastic texture. I also want to put more tinsel in it :P But that'll be later cos I started on my next, even longer wig ;p
Ahaha I'm making an effort to post art and have a for-reals art dedicated blog, crazy I know. Here's a fanart-request commission I did with a really self-indulgent coloring job (my favorite color is RAINBOW), naturally I chose the Howl with the goggles. Sometimes I sure wish I could live in a Miyazaki movie. Specifically the world of Kiki's Delivery Service :B
questionstar.org & questionstar@deviantart. I like to make art, friends, costumes, trouble, and history this is an art/creativity/rambling blog where I complain about art more often than I actually post it!
