Tbh I think the whole "aliens would think humans are badass" like "humans are space orcs" stuff kinda suffers a lot from making the alien races very one track? Like why can we not assume that the aliens are also a diverse culture with rich flora and fauna biodiversity? Why are the aliens always kinda "planet of hats" while the humans get to be like survivors of a death world. Surely the aliens would have also developed insane tech to be able to survive their life conditions?
