Fam you treated that kid like trash his whole little life, why are you treating him decently now
Man literally said that the kid was a snitch that would frame them to the RDA (which is why they had to leave the forest) while Spider was literally DYING to not reveal anything, WHY ARE YOU HUGGING HIM JUDAS, STAY AWAY ❗ ❗ ❗

I hope you like the little beginning of the story from Kittys and my Sisters! 🥰💜 It took me forever (and its just a sketch, for more I had no time and energy) but I am happy I pushed it through.
Also it was the first time for me drawing Tonowari x.x it was hard I hope I got him recognizable. I tried my very best. 🥺💜
I am excited to hear what you think about it. :3
Western Frontier Landscapes part 1 of ?? I apparently have a lot of older photos I need to go through 😅
Reblog if you’re part of it.
So... For the Sex Pollen prompt? Canonically the Panopyra (tawtsngal) "The growing tips of the stems with their sensory cells are said to be an attractant and aphrodisiac and often worn by young Na'vi who are looking for a mate." VERY easy for that Sex Pollen!
I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while because I saw that some time ago this topic was discussed in the fandom, and even though I’m a bit late, I wanted to share my thoughts. This is about this line from the original/previous script of ATWOW ofc, which stirred up a debate between the fans, especially after the Avatar account made a video about the scene while showing/underlining that specific sentence.
First of all, it’s important to specify that a) this was not the final script of the movie, and b) things have been a bit exaggerated and framed in the wrong way from the get go, by the Avatar official account in the first place. To be honest, I haven’t really followed the discourse with much attention, but from what I’ve gathered, I feel like the discussions people had about this were, imo, based on a misinterpretation of the core meaning of what this infamous sentence means: Neytiri is not ashamed of her children per se, but rather she is ashamed of the fact that her children have Sky People’s blood in them.
And yes, it’s a very different thing. To me, it’s not that Neytiri feels shame about who her children are as people. Just because she feels “shame” about their blood, it doesn’t mean she is ashamed about them, as in who they are as individuals. Nothing will ever change the fact that she loves her children more than anything else, and with no doubt considers them perfect just like every mother does; but it’s still true that she could feel some sort of shame about the fact that her children have the blood of their oppressors running through their veins. I don’t think it’s a “ew my kids are dirty half-bloods and they disgust me” kind of thing (like a lot of people framed it to be), but rather a “I love my children with my whole heart, but I still don’t like and struggle to accept the fact that part of them is human, like the people who murdered half of my family, massacred my clan and destroyed my home and life” kind of thing.
And this is not to say that this feeling is not “problematic”. But, considering everything she has been through, it’s also both extremely natural and irrational. I’m sure that she feels very conflicted emotions about this. She 100% technically knows that her children are Na'vi, but she also can’t help but feel disappointed by the fact that they will always be different, and that this difference is caused by them having human blood (we get a glimpse of that in the comics). I also believe, unlike a lot of people I’ve seen, that this — canon or not — is not a disservice or a misinterpretation of her character at the hands of the writers. I actually think it’s a spontaneous progression of her arc and a natural consequence of the events she has experienced in the first movie/so far in her life, not to mention a very realistic effect of a life-long colonization and oppression. It’s not out of character, it’s an aspect of her character that is deeply complex, nuanced, even somewhat problematic, and therefore uncomfortable for a lot of fans to properly judge, analyze or even accept.
Also, small note about Jake, because I think this insight on Neytiri’s emotions naturally raises another question: does she feel shame about Jake too? In my opinion, yes. But it’s the same “logic” as before: she loves Jake for who he is, for what he has become, but she is not happy about the fact the he’s human, and I think a part of her will always struggle to accept that. I also think she loves him despite Jake being human, not that she loves him because she embraces this side of him. She hasn’t changed her mind about Sky People (and rightfully I would add), she has simply fallen in love with what she considers to be the exception, exactly because he is, at least in her eyes, the exception.
Remember that, whether this is about the kids or Jake, this an extremely nuanced and complicated situation and should be treated as such. In my opinion, Neytiri’s trauma about the Sky People will never truly heal. Even if one day she learns or decides to reconcile with (some of) them, even if she does need to work on some irrational and unconscious trauma responses she has (such as this feeling she has developed about her children), I believe there will always be a hidden part of her that will not accept it, there will always be a part of her struggling with the hate and the rage and void the Sky People left in her, there will always be a scar too deep to be properly healed. And that is legitimate.
Ngl, BIG Jake L when he told Kiri "he's a tough kid"
HES LIKE 15. What DO you mean sir??
"tonowari and ronal adopt spider" this, "jake and neytiri learn to move past their trauma and See spider" that. enough! "ta'unui clan sees the little human boy who begged for their lives and decides to adopt him" when???? "ta'unui olo'eyktan/tsahik lets him cry on their shoulders" when???? "ta'unui olo'eyktan/tsahik sees him after a2 in awa'atlu and sees the way spider is very clearly not coping with his ptsd and immediately goes 'please come home with us. we will love you and we will take care of you.'" when?????
scenario based on my atla/Avatar Spider au:
The first time Spider enters the Avatar state is when the humans return to Pandora, their flaming ships bringing inferno like wildfires to Eywa's forests act like a comet, and the boy loses control, and the only way to protect him from himself was for Eywa to induce the Avatar state so his body could withstand the way his own flames reacted. He ends up in the center of some of the worst of the flames, engulfed, but shielded by a sphere of his own flames, stone, and air, as he draws water up from the soil to soften the wildfire's rage.
When the infernos die down days later, he rises from the ashes barely scathed, ready to make himself known as the Avatar, despite his fear and the hostility he knows he'll face as an "abomination to Eywa's blessings". But he doesn't care. He's too angry, his eyes and stripes still glowing, the rage of thousands of centuries of warriors and healers and mothers and fathers and devotees coursing through him.
But he is young. He has had no teachers. So his anger only takes him so far, and very few trust him enough to allow him to truly partake in the battles and planning, not within the Omatikaya anyway, seeing him as some cruel hoax formulated by the humans.
The second time he enters the Avatar state is the night the recoms lay their filthy hands on his baby siblings. He rages. Beyond rages. His power comes in the form of animalistic rage. His eyes and stripes white out. One second his siblings are held in bounds, the next they're free and he's yelling at them in a voice they don't quite recognize to run. Then he is gone, his anger quickly spent, leading to his capture, but not without fight. The recoms never expected to deal with a fire bender like themselves, let alone the Avatar.
The casualties left behind that night were his doing.
The third time he reaches the Avatar state is the night Neteyam dies. The boy was a healer, but not with water. He had no teachers to show him the way of using it to heal. He had no herbs or plants at his side that he recognized as Neteyam bled out before him. He screamed to Eywa for help, for the strength and skill to heal his brother. He pleaded for her to force him into the Avatar state so he could keep his brother from slipping away. But she couldn't save him, not this time. She wanted to, but she could not allow him to upset the balance.
Neteyam dies as Spider weakly, despite all of his might, holds an orb of faintly glowing water over the hole in his chest, as his eyes track over the burns left by over eager fire benders with no true skill. He dies as Spider screams and begs. The one time he needed his blessing, his curse, his punishment, his reward- Whatever anyone wished to call it -to do Hun why good, it could not save his problem.
Instead it comes the moment it is too late to do anything, enough rage and grief and hurt pooling in his chest as Neteyam's eyes glaze over and Neytiri begins to scream and his Father's voice begins to mock. That is when he rises to the ground in a cast of white light. He ravages the ship. He isn't alone, but he claims his casualties.
It takes a very long time before he ever allows himself to enter the Avatar state again, and he learns to never depend on it. For anything. And while his faith in Eywa is not lost, it is jaded, because she blessed him with a curse, whether she meant to or not, and couldn't even answer his one prayer.

Mystery of the sexy paintings au
In which 17yo Gareth St Claire, good for nothing, except painting riske pictures that get him into trouble in the uni, comes up with a plan to con the ton into buying his amateur paintings for an exorbitant price, so he can get the cash he needs to pay for tuition. Enter, his friends/models. Who were nice enough to model for him for free.
The problem is, that the Bridgertons may have made mysterious French painter Gautier-Gautier / 17yo Gareth, rich overnight, but also, now they’re trying to discover his identity. How was Gareth supposed to know his friends attracted so many lunatics.
Sophie, he can understand, Benedict was the initial target of this whole fake art show business. Con the delusional rich guy into buying the painting of odalisque Lady in Silver (wearing a mask and a transparent sheet). But what he didn’t expect was that Benedict would fall inlove at first sight and make a shrine for the painting in his room. Benedict also makes his sister’s lady’s maid clean the shrine, who happens to be Sophie. The very same Sophie who got so fed up with Benedict’s Lady in Silver delulu after a masquerade a year ago, that she was willing to pose semi naked for Gareth and was 100% unapologetic about conning the Benedict out of millions in cash. Now she’s cleaning a shrine to the painting of her own semi naked body and this close to killing Benedict.
Kate, well Gareth doesn’t even know why Kate agreed to let him paint her naked back and buttocks in all their sultry and exquisite glory. All he knows is that she felt sorry for him and that some guy she disliked said she was uptight and priggish and hadn’t done one wild thing in her life, so Kate told Gareth to paint her buttocks on top of a mushroom and get as much cash as he could manage from auctioning off her likeness. Gareth thinks Kate may hate him, because a furious Anthony Bridgerton saw the painting and immediately had people looking for Gautier-Gautier. Gareth knows Anthony can’t prove the naked back-buttocks model in the painting is Kate, but boy is the man trying his best to make Kate confess to her evil misdeeds. He also knows from Sophie that Anthony keeps Kate’s painting in a secret place only he can enter and that he spends way way too much time there. On the bright side, Anthony paid a lot of money for the faceless mushroom fairy, so Gareth has to thank Kate for her honorable, if spiteful gift of charity.
Penelope volunteered to help Gareth because she thought his paintings of Sophie and Kate were beautiful and she was even fine with her face being visible because in her reasoning, nobody would recognize HER wearing negligee anyway, she was a wallflower, if people saw the resemblance, well, redheads were a dime a dozen in popular paintings, nobody would think it was her. Gareth thought so too, and he was happy to help Penelope get in touch with her desirable femininity by painting her as the goddess of love. He was proud of the redhead seductress he painted. That is until another furious Bridgerton walked away from the art show with the painting AND the woman he clearly recognized in tow. Gareth doesn’t know much about Colin Bridgerton, but he looked about to shoot somebody the moment he saw Penelope, and the painting of the goddess of love that everyone was admiring. Penelope at least tried to explain, but Colin was fit to be tied. Gareth really hopes his friend is okay and not locked away somewhere being ravished by Colin Bridgerton. the man did pay an exorbitant amount of money for the painting, but Gareth is okay with accusing Colin of kidnapping Penelope if he doesn’t hear from her in a few days.
Phillip, okay yes Gareth did it on purpose, he painted the man as a dark sexy demon wearing a loincloth, but to be fair Gareth asked for help, Phillip said no, because #thinkOfMyChildren, so Gareth had to resort to blackmail. And while, yes it is wrong for Gareth to use Phillip’s sad depressive diary against him, it was also wrong of Phillip to say no to posing semi-nude for Gareth’s moneymaking schemes. What better way to celebrate being in London for a hot widowed father than to do Gareth a favor. In the end the bidding war among the thirsty debutantes made loin cloth fire demon the hit of the night, I mean Eloise Bridgerton probably bankrupted a few years of her allowance with how much she put on the pot to take the painting. Now Phillip is complaining that Eloise is sniffing around too much when he’s shirtless in the gardens trying to teach his kids about plants. Honestly for Gareth that sounds like the opposite of a problem, but Phillip has this thing called modesty that Gareth can’t quite get.
Look at cousin Simon and his boxing buddy Michael, they were both good sports about being part of the art show. Sure Simon almost fainted with Daphne Bridgerton began arguing with her brother about the whole ‘if you can take the mushroom fairy, I can take the semi naked warrior, so give me the money’ ordeal, because you know, Anthony was Simon’s university pal and could recognize those warrior biceps anywhere. But in the end, he couldn’t deny Daphne her wish without explaining that she was thirsting over semi naked Simon, and giving up the mushroom fairy painting that other gentlemen were eying with envy was a non negotiable. Daphne walked away with her painting and so did dowager duchess Francesca Stirling, who took one look at Archangel Michael’s painting, paid a king’s ransom for it and walked out without so much as looking around, you gotta admire a woman on a mission really.
Lucy’s painting was probably the less risque of the lot, because while she was only a year older than him, she still wanted to participate in the gautier-gautier moneymaking scheme and help Gareth, so Gareth painted her as a beautiful mermaid, in honor of their childhood friendship. She was dressed…sort of. I mean look at Greg Bridgerton, he bought it for her didn’t he? He thinks the art looks pretty. He thinks the art looks like Lucy. And with the way Greg talks about the mermaid, Gareth wonders how the man can be so dense. But that’s Lucy’s problem to worry about.
Enter his current problem. Debutate and diamond extraordinaire, way too perceptive to be sixteen, Hyacinth Bridgerton, who apparently knows all about Gareth’s secret identity as Gautier-Gautier and is threatening to let her siblings know, unless Gareth gives her a self portrait… for free.
An: I’m thinking about writing a drabble about this, mainly just the part of Gareth and the fabulous seven coming up with the idea and actually implementing it. tagging @sea-owl my au loving buddy who is okay with hearing me ramble

Two ideas:
-modern hero AU
-regency era hero AU
The first one is simple, the classic modern heroes with the crown ruling over the heroes. Like you have to be recognised by the queen to be considered a real hero and that way have the advantages that being a hero bring. Being a hero is like being a noble. But it's mainly for people with super powers. It's so elite to be a hero that heroes coming from working class are rare. You have the first have powers, then go to the royal hero academy to study among comfirmed heroes and be recognised as a real hero. It's about chance, money and connections.
The second one is when the first super himans appear. In this AU it's more of a shamefull thing to be a hero. It's brand new and most super heroes are working class or low ranking nobles. Since this is all new the Queen insist in having all the super humans close by to be studied by the royal scientist. This fear of super humans is also because when the first super human appear he caused a lot of damages to the palace. In this AU when a child show signs of having super human abilities their families pushed them to hide it. Except for the Bridgerton, When Edmund Bridgerton was alive he was the only super human that the yound queen liked so his family had always been favored and their children were allowed to show their powers.
And it's all I have for now
A small sketch of ashen teenagers. I don't think there are only three children of the age of Ttrong, Oare and Txon in the clan. And here's a squad of Pandora's tightly beaten teenagers!
Reblog to open a rail line from your blog to the person you reblogged this from
I am so glad to see a nuance take on their relationship where neither of them is demonised.
Especially when we uave someone like Jake who sjould kbow what PTSD is like and how to deal with it but I feel like he's just pushing the problem away abd hoping it would fix itself.
Just some reflections on Tiri idk—
It’s tragic how Neytiri doesn’t actually have any way of expressing her trauma or PTSD. The few times she tries to bring up her thoughts and concerns and inner pain, in her own way, Jake either takes offense to it or tries consoling her, when it’s not what she needs. What she needs is to be heard, to process what happened and to be given validity for what she feels. She doesn’t get any of it, so Spider inadvertently becomes her tool for that; an outlet.
Neytiri needs Spider, because he is the only person she can express her trauma through without being dismissed or sounding crazy (in her own mind at least). He becomes a way for her to, more or less safely, express distrust and anger at humans, not for what they are, but for what they’ve done and the destruction they caused, as well as fear that it might happen again, which is a normal reaction to a deeply traumatic event.
What people miss when they feverishly defend Neytiri tho, is that this isn’t a healthy coping mechanism. Spider is a living, breathing individual and a child. He and Neytiri don’t stand on equal ground, and he doesn’t owe being the vessel for her emotions. The things he says in upset, or in that argument scene in high ground, might sound like Spider isn’t getting the bigger picture yet, but how can he, when both he and Neytiri have been blindsided by people who have the education to explain to them the complexity of their emotions and the scars left behind certain experiences?
Tiri is a victim of horrible events, and more so, of emotional neglect, but she also seems to have placed herself and Spider into a relationship where her anger and trauma is projected and managed directly through him. It seems to alleviate some of her anger, temporarily, but doesn’t actually remove it. She just keeps suffering, hence she’s not in the right for this.

Anyway, might delete later if I’m wrong idk.
Ekko asking: "can we just pretend like it's the first time?"
Since his version of himself is already dating Powder
And it's Powder that initiates it. Meaning that she's the one that made the first move in their universe?!😭
love how my development of timebomb went from:
“I’ll go ahead and count that as flirting”
to
“OH I WILL NEVER RECOVER!!!”
No because what do you mean they were best friends as kids and Ekko had a crush on her, and then he tries to ‘rescue’ her from Silco but she doesn’t want to go with him and they end up on opposing sides as enemies and he insists that ‘Powder is gone, only Jinx is left’ but he paints a mural for Powder as one of the people they’ve lost and when he has the chance to kill her he can’t bring himself to do it because he still cares about her and she tries to blow them both up because she views death as mercy and wants to die with him and then he gets sent to another universe where she’s still Powder and he falls in love with her all over again and he goes back to his universe convinced he can save her and he has to watch her kill herself over and over again before managing to convince her to live and join the fight and they do and he wears her paint and then she just… dies anyways and now he’s lost her for like, the NINTH TIME
Arcane writers you will start coughing in 10 days
The fact that Ekko went back in time god knows how many times again and again to get jinx to not kill herself only to end up losing her again makes me INSANE
The actual best part of episode 7?
Ekko getting to hug his dad again and tell him the words he never got to say.
Are you okay or did you realize Ekko was right
the arcane fandom can argue about literally anything, but the one thing we all agree on is that ekko, the boy savior, is the most unproblematic character ever, and that we all absolutely love him. while everyone else is caught up in gay tragedy of all kinds, my boy ekko is just over here trying to fix his damn tree
Do you think we’re soulmates in another universe?
LMAOOOOOO
what is with the original atwow script and pissing. Lo'ak and Spider pissing together on a rock, Spider doing it again in the cell at Bridgehead… i’m glad they scripted it out eventually but was it necessary to include in the first place lmao
