recently got reminded of Jason’s “hello bed, hello pillow,” line and how deeply I feel that reflects his character and his longing. so here’s some yearning!jason because that boy loves deeply and profoundly down to his very soul. have I mentioned I love him? also once again the romanized arabic at the end translates to “my life” and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite terms of endearment for Jay to use.

Thinking about Jason Todd and how deeply he yearns for you. He’s waited so long to be loved in the way he craves, has been so hungry for it that the ache in his belly has never really gone away. He’s been a wraith, a corpse, a man starving for affection and sweetness. And then you come along and change everything for him. How couldn’t he yearn for you? How couldn’t he long for you every moment that you’re not in his presence? Revere you and worship you every moment that you are?

Thinking about Jason Todd who treats you like something divine, something holy. He kisses the bruises you get from bumping into countertops or tripping along the crooked cobblestones in Gotham Heights. He ghosts his thumbs over your closed eyes when you lay down with him to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Jason Todd who holds you so, so close to him. He knows you run cold and he runs burning hot, so it’s only right that he wraps his entire body around you to keep you warm and safe. Thinking about Jason Todd who clings to everything he’s ever loved and lost with bloodied fingers from how tightly he holds on. His fingers aren’t bloodied with you though. He doesn’t have to dig his nails in, bite down with his teeth, and force you to stay. You remain peacefully in his arms. You lie there content like you trust him, like you love him. That’s what makes his yearning all the more fierce—it’s returned by you. He used to doubt it, used to think he was unworthy and undeserving and that no one could possibly pick him out of all the people in the world. But you’ve stuck around and proved him wrong. Thinking of Jason Todd who comes back from patrol just before daybreak. The sky is the same blue-green as his eyes and exhaustion weighs down his body. There is NO magical secret to law of assumption. Take Abdullah’s words seriously and stop asking where it is and how to get it. ASSUME!!!! Stop thinking your circumstances are stopping you because they aren’t. Your assumptions are all there is and all that matters here.

What you “need” to do is assume because that’s what the law says. Then, slam the door on “taking action,” “doing techniques (unless they resonate with you),” “trying to understand how it works,” and “doubts.” You are slamming the door once and then opening it after 5 minutes. But Abdullah KEPT slamming the door whenever Neville Goddard would come around like “omg Abdullah where are my desires? I’ve been persisting and nothing changed!!!” And then what happened? THE LAW WORKED LIKE IT ALWAYS DOES…. Duh… 😒

It’s not rocket science. Once you know what the law of assumption says, you don’t NEED to know more. Go apply it.

Okay, so breaking my silence on my shift.

All I can literally say is that there's no right or wrong way to shift. it's just whatever you feel comfortable with doing. Whatever you think will work for you, it will trust me.

I genuinely felt like I couldn't shift, like everyone else could, that there was something about me that just wasn't letting me do so, and boy, was i wrong. That night, I said to myself, "Whatever happens, happens." And gave it one last go.

When you shift, you don't feel the shift. You feel nothing (unless you scripted something else, idk). It feels like waking up literally anywhere else, like you're at a sleepover or something.

You don't get overwhelmed with joy because you were already there anyway. I was shaken up for a bit, I can't lie. I was confused a lot because I just wasn't used to the area. Like I would like because it is weird just to wake up in a completely different place. And I will shaken up the whole day about it. I was like. I won't say I was freaking out, but I was zoning out like every 5 minutes. It's just like, what? like I was looking at my hands. I was in awe, but I wasn't at the same time.

The funniest thing is that it all felt natural. I didn't say affirmations. I didn't do a lot of things that usually help people. I just let it happen as I was going to sleep.

Literally it.

reminder: shifting is real. you’re going to have memories from when you were a kid or random interactions with people you knew back then. even the dream you may have had when you were 10... oh and perhaps the supermarket you visited with your parents 6 years ago? your life in your dr doesn’t start from the moment you shift there. life is still life. don’t treat your dr as a ‘magical‘ place.
