nothing in the world makes me more evil than just being kind of annoyed
They are very in love
Having read your take on why you love Deku so much, why then do you love Bakugou? (Seeing as he‘s so very different lol) And would you say you love him just as much, or do you totally have favorites?
I liked him like five seconds in, something about this frame I remember thinking “oh he’s an asshole <3” and the rest is history
What made me continue liking him though was his development throughout the series. I really like the way his perceptions where flipped upside down, how he was forced to confront his own flaws, it continues to make him a really interesting and fun character to watch.
I think he’s a funny character, he’s “good at everything he does” but he’s a nerd and has a shit personality. I just feel like he’s a bunch of contradictions rolled into one person, he’s loud and can be annoying and in your face, but he also likes keeping to himself, and he’s quiet until provoked. He’s got this “bad boy” vibe but he’s also a rule follower, and goes to bed at 8 like a loser old man. He acts defiant and says stuff like “don’t tell me what to do” while doing said thing he was asked to do. It’s just always a blast seeing how he’s characterized because he’s so many things all at once.
While him and deku are super different, I like them for a lot of the same reasons. Seeing them both have separate yet similar journeys at ua, making real genuine friends, being humbled and gaining confidence, learning how to work together, all the growth they have as characters makes me love them even more. I love their determination and ambition, and I love the way they compliment each other.
So I guess in summary: silly goofy asshole makes me <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.
“You know, when a person is very, very sad, they like sunsets.”
“And were you very, very sad on the day you watched forty-four sunsets?”
But the little prince did not reply.
