I honestly hate when people make Peter some annoying git or a tag along in marauders fics. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE some of them, and they’re literally my favourite book series. But it still ticks me off when Peter is written as some forgettable idiot. For gods sake, the marauders LOVED HIM. he was their brother, there was a reason why James and Lily trusted him. And he made his decision off of fear, not hatred for the others. Keep in mind I am in no way justifying what he did, it was selfish and horrible. I still hate the little rat for what he did, I’m just trying to say that he wasn’t just someone that the others didn’t love or care about.

did hogwarts students have to feed their owls? was there a school rattery? if not, how did the ecosystem around hogwarts support a concentrated population of hundreds of predators? did the owls pair-bond. did they fuck. were they distressed and defensive about being crowded together with so many rivals in a small territory.
