That said, I think I'm gonna take a short hiatus until things even out at home and I figure this mess out. Thank you guys for being patient with me.
And shout-out to my beautiful girlfriend đ she's the best support system I could've ever dreamed of.
Day Five: Haunted House
*
âAnd⊠there!â Lance sits back to admire his work. âWow, you look really scary.â
The actor smiles at the makeup artist, thanking him before getting up to go get into costume. The Cuban smiles, dabbing his brush onto a cloth before sliding it into his makeup bag and zipping it shut. That had been his final actor. All of the people for the opening night of the haunted house were all made up and he was free to roam the park.
âItâs funny to me that youâll do this, but you wonât watch Saw with me.â
Lance turns, looking over to see his boyfriend leaning on the doorframe of the dressing room. He smiles, looking over his beat up leather jacket and the braid Lance had managed to weave into his hair before his shift (with minimal grumbling, of course).
âThereâs a difference between making people look like a monster and watching a movie about a psychopathic serial killer.â He quips.
âItâs still funny to me that you took a job at a haunted house. Of all places.â Keith snorts, pushing off the wall and walking over to help Lance with his bags. âYou jump at shadows.â
âIâm creating these shadows. Thereâs a difference!â
âUh huh,â Keith presses a kiss to his cheek. âCome on, letâs go. I lost a bet to Pidge and now sheâs making me get my face painted.â
âI could do it.â Lance offers.
âNah,â he shoulders the makeup bag. âShe wants it to be embarrassing, and youâd make it pretty even if it was embarrassing.â
âThis is true.â Lance laughs, taking Keithâs free hand and squeezing it. âWhy do you have to get your face painted, anyway?â
The Koreanâs cheeks heat up, his ears going slightly red. âYouâll laugh at me.â
âYou lost a bet to Pidge, of course Iâll laugh at you.â He chuckles.
âFair enoughâŠâ Keith grumbles. He chews on his lip for a moment before he huffs. âWe went into the kids haunted house across the way, and⊠I got scared.â
âYou⊠got scared?â Lance raises an eyebrow.
âYeah, well⊠the deal was that we had to keep a straight face the whole time. And everything was fine! Until this kid bumped into me and I freaked out.â
The Cuban swallows a laugh. âAnd what was this kid dressed like?â
Keith deflates. âA puppy.â
âSounds like you really deserve that face paint, babe.â Lance teases, swinging their arms. âCâmon, I wanna help pick what it is.â
âYou guys are so mean to me!â Keith whines, trudging along beside him.
âYeah, yeah.â He chuckles, leaning up and giving him a kiss. âYou brought this on yourself. Letâs go.â
The two walk hand in hand toward their friends, the haunted house at their backs and Lanceâs endless palettes of makeup and brushes clacking together in the bag. Keith grumbles about the injustice of unforeseen circumstances and backstabbing best friends. Lance tightens his fingers around Keithâs hand, smiling and shaking his head.
Oh man, if only Keith knew that Lance had taken this job so that Keith had an excuse to go to the scream park every night. He was pretty sure that his boyfriend might keel over from the sheer amount of joy. So Lance kept that little part to himself, simply enjoying Keithâs juvenile happiness at the proximity to his favorite holiday. It was well worth designing scary characters and painting them into existence every single night. Â
I love my girlfriend~
@gravitationallychallengedrabbits
Love you, babe~ đ
Hi there! I'm Reny.
I've been writing fanfiction for about 12 years now, and my current favorite rarepair to write about is Vi and Sevika from Arcane (although my wife has been known to draw a JayVik drabble or two from me). A lot of my works are 18+ so please proceed with caution!
My lovely wife is my muse, however unfortunately for them (and you, dear reader) I tend to channel my inspiration into gut wrenching angst that borders on body horror. Whoops.
On this blog, we are trans inclusive (as a trans myself), inherently queer, mental-health positive, and pro ship whoever you like. I love interacting with everyone (a comment always begets a comment), and all I ask is that we keep it kind, friendly, and civil.
Without further ado; my Arcane fanfiction masterlist!
Vi x Sevika
Multichapter Fics:
dying to live - 54.6k words, finished, rated E.
desc: Vi loses her father and her future in the span of a few minutes. She's left to pick up the pieces and fit them back together - but nothing will ever be the same. There's a lost relationship with her estranged sister to navigate, a bar to run, and a mysterious regular who seems intent on helping Vi despite her insistence on doing things alone.
cover me in gasoline - 16.5k words, ongoing, rated E.
desc: Rockstar Vi AU. "If her music was a monster, Vi was its teeth. Vi was its claws, sinking into the meat of the world and ripping so she could feed the starving jaws of Zaun. She found solace in the violence of screeching chords and banging rhythms, felt her heartbeat in the bassline beneath the music. She shook with the rage, with the determination, with the dogged desperation of a town being erased by for sale signs and developers with faceless corporations ripping apart their wildlife and planting cement time bombs at their apex."
Series:
without you is how i disappear - 38.2k words, 4 parts, complete.
part one: these terrors gripping my throat - 5.6k words, rated E.
desc: canon divergent. Vi has some old wounds that never healed. Sevika likes to pick at them. They find a way to start healing them together.
âYou good?â Sevika asks, and Vi barks out a laugh.
âOh yeah. Fucking peachy.â She says through grit teeth, then sucks in smoke harder than was necessary to avoid elaborating.
Sevika leans her shoulder against the wall beside Vi, looking down at her, expression unreadable. There was a bruise forming in the shape of Viâs knuckles on her jaw. Lucky shot. The only real hit Vi had managed to get in.
âThereâs some girls at Babetteâs who canât do penetration either,â Sevika offers, and Vi bristles.
part two: as the blood runs down the wall - 10.3k words, rated E.
desc: Vi and Sevika fall into each other.
âYou - Youâre letting me move in?â Vi canât help the shock and disbelief in her tone.
Brown eyes roll and glance into the contents of a half empty coffee mug. âYes. For now. You pull any stupid shit and Iâll have you on your ass.â
âBut why?â It comes out of her mouth before she can have a second to think.
They sit in silence for a moment, Vi clutching her bowl of oatmeal like a lifeline, Sevika considering the depths of her coffee cup.
âI owe your old man a solid.â Sevika says finally.
The disappointment that hits Vi startles her. Ah. She understood - debts had to be paid, and a dead man couldnât exactly call in favors. But the hunted thing in her, the part of her that never seemed to stop bleeding or weeping or howling, cowers from the words. It was just another reminder that Vi was on her own, at the mercy of others until they cast her aside or died or betrayed her. She picks at her oatmeal and wonders which one Sevika would inevitably choose.
part three: as these days watch over time - 9.4k words, rated E.
desc: Vi breaks. Sevika bends. They find a way forward, together.
âItâs therapy and house arrest, or Stillwater. You pick.â
Viâs eyes narrow. She pulls one foot onto her seat, wraps her arms around her knee and inspects the dried blood beneath her fingernails. Therapy. Like she was some sad Piltie who didnât get enough sun. âI donât need some shrink to tell me what to do.â She mutters.
âWell, the Council says you do, so. Pick one.â
Viâs knee bounces. She bites at a hangnail, the taste of copper sitting heavy on her tongue. Either way, it was a trap. Sheâd stay here, haunted by newer ghosts and picking apart wounds, or sheâd be sent back to be haunted by old ghosts and inevitably get new wounds. She had no doubt everything she said in a shrinkâs office would be fed back to Sevika. To Caitlyn. To whoever asked for it.
Then again, they wrote reports on the prisoners in Stillwater, too. She couldnât imagine how many eyes had been on hers over the last decade.
âFine,â
part four: so long and goodnight - 12.8k words. Rated E.
desc: Epilogue.
Healing is a long, arduous journey.
Vi had been on it for a few months now. Sheâd grown out her hair a little, let it fade back to the vibrant pink of her youth. She picked up weight lifting instead of fighting, keeping herself in good enough shape to fight if need be, but not in the constant adrenaline rush that came with actually beating someone to a pulp in front of a crowd. Sheâd pierced her other nostril. It was a little crooked, but she liked it that way.
Oneshots:
bleed me to death - 9.9k words, rated E.
desc: Vampire Sevika, religious Vi, and a good amount of yearning. Set in the 1800s!
Vi had heard stories about the house on the hill.
Sheâd been warned of the depravity that lived within. Sheâd heard whispers about the guests who went, the weary travelers who stopped and never left, the parties that went for hours and the people who went missing afterwards. But most of all, sheâd heard about the woman who owned it.
There were rumors about what she was. A witch, maybe. A woman with the proclivity to sleep with the devil in exchange for worldly possessions. A succubus. AÂ monster. A devil in her own right.
my vow to you - 9k words, rated E.
desc: omegaverse, alpha!sevika and omega!vi, a wedding, and a baby.
Sevika was a little old fashioned, so she insists Vi and her wait until after they were married to share a heat or a rut together.
It was fine. This just gave her more time to make sure she could properly take care of her alpha, or properly make her own heat enjoyable for her soon to be mate.
let me find our future under the stars - 6.1k words, rated T.
desc: omegaverse, alpha!sevika and omega!vi, teen romance, girl next door sevika, age appropriate teen angst.
Vi had always been a vibrantly energetic kid. Her parents had put her into sports early as a kid, just to burn off the energy she came home with every day. She was scrappy, too, and could hold her own in a fight. She inherited her alpha fatherâs temper, and her omega fatherâs wit, and both of those combined made a deadly combination. Everyone assumed from the day she was born that when she presented, sheâd be an alpha.
That was why, when Vi finally presented (late, at sixteen), she was horrified to discover she was not an alpha. She was, in fact, an omega.
doomsday - 6k words, rated M.
desc: zombie apocolypse au, selective mutism vi, one armed sevika.
Putting a bullet through your fatherâs head long range was one thing. Putting one through your sisterâs, while she begged you not to, while the light died from her eyes, was entirely different. Vi stared her sister in the eye, listened to the snapping of bones in a leg hanging onto her body by the threads of torn muscle, as it tried to reconnect itself and her skin flushed hot with a virus that felt more like a wildfire - and she pulled the trigger.
vagus - 1.4k words, rated M.
desc: there were some days Violet wanted to pry open her chest and break her ribs off one by one. Mental health study.
Sheâd stack her ribs in a pile, wiping the blood on her fingers off on the bone. After, sheâd reach into her bared chest and take out her heart. Untangle the veins and arteries that kept it in place, watch it spout blood uselessly. Sheâd stick her fingers in the valves she swore were clogged, dig around to pick the muscle clean so maybe it would hurt less when it beat.
Tumblr Prompts:
Vi edges Sevika or vice versa please? - 1.3k words, rated E.
amnesia Vi x potentially guilty Sevika - 623 words, rated G.
Unaware touch starved Sevika x (un)surprisingly observant Vi - 1.1k words, rated T.
Vi/Sevika Sickfic - 1k words, rated G.
How about something like Sevika finding out that Vi has chronic pain (in my head it's canon) and taking care of her? - 1.7k words, rated G.
Jayvik:
(I'll be so honest, you JayVik shippers terrify me. Speaking as someone with a wife who is one!)
not really here, just an intrusion - 7.4k words, rated M, ongoing.
desc: A character study in two acts - season one, and then season two.
âWho authorized your research?â He asks, and Jayceâs annoyance slides over his face before he can hide it.
âIt was an independent study.â
Those words alone send a thrill through Viktor. He canât say he isnât distracted as he collects Jayce from what had essentially been deemed a crime scene. The possibilities that had opened up to him - if an experiment like this could go unnoticed, what else could be done?
This masterpost is ongoing. As always, drop an ask or a prompt in my inbox <3 happy reading!!

One
Sevika grunts softly as she disconnects the hydraulics that connect her arm to the harness, setting it down on the kitchen table with a louder clatter than she means. She stares blankly at the limb, mouth pressed into a thin line, before she sits down heavily at the chair in front of it.Â
Vi pokes her head out of the kitchen, blinking, then smiles. âHey, baby.â
âHi.â Sevika grunts.
âYou hungry?â Vi comes over to nudge the discarded limb further on the table so it doesnât continue its slide down toward the floor.Â
Sevika grunts again, watching Vi, tense.Â
Vi softens. She brushes a hand through Sevikaâs hair, ignoring the initial way she tenses. Her fingers massage her scalp gently, pulling a low groan from her girlfriend. Sevikaâs eyes close and she drops her head back, bumping against Viâs chest and staying there.Â
âYeah?â Vi murmurs.Â
She gets another grunt, softer this time, as Sevika relaxes into the feeling.Â
~~~
Two
Sevika had little tells. She tended to loom, when she was pissed off. She grit her teeth, ground them a little each time someone pissed her off enough. It left her jaw sore and her teeth pulsing painfully, which usually led to a headache.Â
She also has a habit of slamming things around a bit when sheâs coming down from the dregs of anger. Itâs quiet, but sheâs firm and sharp with every inanimate object around her. Vi can usually hear muttering from the bedroom when Sevika argues with a dresser drawer or negotiates space with the bathroom counter. Â
It isnât until theyâre settled in on the couch to watch a movie that Vi can urge her to lay down in her lap. Sevika usually goes with another little grumble, but she doesnât bother to hide the way she shoves her face in Viâs thigh when she finally settles.Â
She grunts softly when Vi reaches down to gently massage her jaw, her thumb pressing gently to the juncture of her temple and jawbone, rubbing the pressure from it. Sevika melts, eyes slipping shut as Vi picks through their option of reruns and shitty romcoms.Â
If she dozes off before Vi can pick one, nobody needed to know.
~~~
Three
Viâs favorite thing to do was watch Sevika melt. Sheâd found a couple ways to do it, but her favorite way was when they were getting ready for bed.Â
It was usually when Sevika was grumbling about work, or recounting a new cool fact sheâd learned, or just generally listing off their schedule for the upcoming days. This was Viâs favorite time to interrupt, turning to look at Sevika and reaching up to cup her face.Â
It always made Sevika stutter a little, pause, her long eyelashes flickering. She always pressed her cheek into one of Viâs palms, eyes slipping halfway shut.Â
âYeah?â Vi murmurs every time, her free thumb brushing over Sevikaâs cheek, tilted up in offering for every affection Vi could give.Â
âMmh.â Sevika hums softly, melting, nearly purring like a happy kitten.Â
Vi often stayed right there, letting Sevika cup her wrist and hold her there.Â
~~~
Four
Kiss attacks were something Sevika had no knowledge of before Vi.Â
It came when Vi got tipsy, and went as such; Vi squinted at her from across the bar, or beside her on the adjoining barstool, and pouts. Her cheeks were always a little flushed, her gaze bright with her alcohol of choice.Â
Didnât matter if Sevika had a full cup in hand, if Sevika was in the middle of a conversation, if Sevika was trying to appear put together in front of some visitors for work - nope. Vi got that gleam in her eyes, and Sevika was helpless to do anything but wait to catch her girlfriend in her arms and get smothered in kisses.Â
Sevika liked to wrap her arms around Viâs waist, hold her flush against her body, even if she groaned and complained and pretended to hate it. Vi liked to finish with a kiss to the tip of her nose, noisy and sweet, and lean heavily against her to steal her drink.Â
Sevika was always left grinning afterwards.Â
~~~
Five
The best kind of touch, in Sevikaâs opinion, came when she decided to give in and let Vi do as she pleased in bed.Â
Vi was so gentle with her; the cocky tendencies and teasing went right out the window the moment Sevika either gave in to Viâs request or asked outright for it. She spent so much time pressing kisses to every inch of Sevikaâs skin, murmuring soft praise against her skin, pausing to pay special attention to every scar.Â
Orgasms were more intense when Sevika let Vi take her time, working her up gently and slowly, somehow following every cue Sevika gave or didnât give, doing exactly what her body wanted or needed with hardly a breath. Sevika always melted easily, making noises she hadnât known she was capable of before Vi.Â
It always ended with tears; Sevika overwhelmed to the point of crying once she did topple over the edge into pleasure with an intensity sheâd never thought was possible. Vi always curled up against her side, kissing her tears away and stroking her hair until she calmed and settled, head tucked beneath Viâs chin.Â
Sevika never returned the favor those nights, but Vi never seemed to mind. She was happy to pull the blankets around them and murmur praise until Sevika fell right to sleep against her.
~~~
Plus One
âVi,â Sevika says one morning, while sheâs sitting at the table, reading an article on her phone.Â
The smell of bacon and the sound of grease popping filters from the kitchen, where Vi was making them a lazy weekend brunch. âYeah, baby?â
âIâm reading this article,â Sevika pulls her reading glasses off.Â
âOkaaay..â Vi hums, waiting for her to elaborate.Â
Sevika is silent for a moment, before she clears her throat and asks, âDo you know what being touch starved is?â
Thereâs the sound of⊠maybe laughter? Before itâs choked off and Vi coughs. âI, uh - yes. Yeah. I do know. Why?â
Sevika squints suspiciously at the noise. â...I think I may be that.â
Vi chuckles this time, unable to help herself. âYeah. Yeah, baby, I think you are. Figure it out finally?â
âYou knew?â Sevika yelps, heat rising to her cheeks.Â
Vi comes out of the kitchen, leaning in the doorway, fond. âYes, love. I knew.â She goes over, smelling of bacon and coffee, pausing to kiss the top of Sevikaâs head. Sevika melts, and then realizes she was melting, and scowls.Â
âOh.â She says instead, and Vi sighs fondly and kisses her forehead.Â
âIâll make sure you arenât starved, Sev. Just lemme do my thing, okay?â
âOkay.â Sevika grumbles, and leans into the playful scratch to the short hairs on the back of her neck.
Can you make a part2 two Plus one
Hi! I did, it's called Sick Day!
You can find it on AO3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/16040336
I'm not sure when I'm going to update the series or even if I am, but I hope this tides you over for now!
Oh my gosh!!!! This is so beautiful thank you so much đ„°đ
This is based off of the fic âSomewhere Over the Rainbowâ by @renywrites which had this cool idea of a rainbow world and a monochrome world! I tried drawing chibi and then Iâm like screw it, and made them more animal crossing inspired instead.
Kudos to fanfiction writers for writing about all the trauma and emotional and mental turmoil that the original content creators dont acknowledge when putting characters through hell
