For now, she found a home in the less than savory part of Gotham.       Another night spent at some dodgy bar. Where Violet would hope to drown her plentiful sorrows in a whiskey neat. At first, she paid no mind to the person who sat next to her. It was only when she heard the familiar voice of her one-time lawyer, that she turned her head. Many things had changed in both their lives, how strange it would both lead them to the same point.      Worry filled Violet that she may be recognized. That it may be the end of her life as a free woman. Nervously she turned her face to him. Though he had been an ally once, that did not mean he still was. “It has been sometime Mr. Dent.” Her chestnut eyes darted from him to the door.

୨୧╼ Technology has always been a double edge sword. Inventions and discoveries made with positive intention could end up twisted and used for less than savory means. Innovation had a cost, and usually the bill was footed by those who wished to profit. It just so happened to be that war was lucrative. Even so Violet tried her best to maintain her morals in an unjust and cruel world.

        It was in libraries that Violet often found a respite. Though she may live in a world where information could be found by the touch of a button, she still preferred the Dewey Decimal System. Sadly, libraries have lost a lot of patronage over the years. Leaving them vestiges of what they once were. So, it surprised her when she felt the presence of someone behind her. “Oh my apologies – am I in your way?”

in any super hero verse, violet does not have powers. she is an average human but is clever - so she works in a mechanics lab engineering various contraptions and and computers. usually she is framed by upper management for a villainous deed, and she has to go on the run.
