Forgot to share tjos yesterday Spider-Man Final Homemade Suit v2 . #spiderman #spiderman #fanart #marvel #photoshop #photoshopartist #digitalart (på/i Marvel Universe) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpXibEFMMzB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Look at him go! This was done just after my Hammond actually but been postponed so many times for other stuff. Wanted it to feel grounded, touchable. A real suit with an awkward mask and big gloves. Focus less on the hero and more on the story of the angsty kid with access to his aunt’s sewing machine, ready to take on the world.
Also, it happens to be my Birthday. Yay, go me.
Wow! Couldn't be further away!
This game doesn't come out til Oct and I already have ideas!
Do you have any advice on making art in Photoshop?
If you're drawing characters, this site here is your best friend: https://app.justsketch.me/
Lock layers whenever you're done on it, harder to draw on the wrong one without having to unlock them first
(Also save back-up-layers if you're planning to change something in case it doesn't end up as you want, heck, save back-up-files if you have a real crazy idea that can either make or break your day)
Use the Navigator found in the Windows-tap, allows you to still see the whole canvas while zoomed in
Explore, mess with the settings. Press every button you can find under Filter, there's a lot of fun stuff to use there.
Be patient, let the project take the time it needs, can be hours, can be days.
If you're new to drawing digitally, I'm okay with you tracing. Just to help you land in your new artstyle and tools. As long as you pay attention to what you're tracing and can learn from it.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here’s a little OC couple that me and my friend created when we played Human Fall Flat. As you do.
“I want my stuff to have thought and meaning behind it” Shut up past me, sometimes I just want to admire Parisian architecture and this time I wanted to draw their crowned street posts… and the crown itself quickly disappeared when I had to draw feet over it.
And yet another Saturday-upload that was planned as a Friday. And the one thing this week that was planned for a set deadline and didn’t actually meet it.
But last year I did a random Winter-Max-thing and I thought it was fun how much I got right with the release of Double Exposure. That green jacket (even if a lot less detailed, I had just discovered my interest in fashion), those yellow-ish gloves, the overall winter-theme and cosy forest.
Not the scarf tho, and she apparently still kept the sweatshirt… which she only uses under the jacket… so a LOT of layers to keep herself warm. I did plan to make the hat yellow as well to match the glow but thought it would be fun for her to just borrow Chloe’s blue one.
But yeah, just me once again wondering how I became a gardener and not a professional… concept artist? Brainstormer? Coffeemaker? Chair? IF I HAD A COIN for every random thing I find myself predicting to my interests, I could buy myself a singular chocolate bar.
