Today, Cas tends to the small flower garden he'd started earlier in the spring. The buds have begun to open and Cas watches eagerly as the bees enthusiastically approach, ready to get to work. Using his trenchcoat as a barrier between himself and the morning dew, Cas sits in the grass and watches as hundreds of creatures come and go from the garden. When Dean comes out to check on him, he finds Cas, surrounded by butterflies and bees, all sitting on his knees, arms, and shoulders or hovering nearby, muttering something about good reviews and the importance of native flora.
Damn I just realized that since the Rohirrim didn’t read or write (wise but unlearned, writing no books but singing many songs) that means Eowyn couldn’t read or write and since she marries Nerdboy McGee who loves reading and writing more than anything you can your bottom dollar one of the first thing that happens in their courtship/marriage is Faramir and Eowyn wholesome tutoring sessions in the Minas Tirith library (!)

UK folks:
Protect Disabled people who cannot work from planned cuts to benefits
We want the Government to halt all planned benefit cuts for disabled people unable to work. Instead of reducing benefits, we want them to rise in line with inflation. We want support, not hardship and deprivation, for those who cannot work.
Government has to respond at 10k signatures; as of midday 14 April, there are 9.4k.
(Haven't seen this one circulating yet.)
