Sometimes self care is telling yourself "this sucks and I don't want to do it, but it needs to get done before I can feel better" and then forcing yourself through it as an investment in your future self.
Dear friend’s mother,
How dare you tell me I have no integrity and then tell your daughter to mistreat me. Today is a day of self love and healing from the damage you have done to me.

Glorify the name of Aphrodite Kalliste,
Who bestowed grace and beauty upon dear Pandora,
Who won the golden apple,
Who is a jealous goddess.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Areia,
Who clothes herself in armor for that which she believes in,
Who fights by the side of her fierce lover,
Matching him step for step,
Who is in every grieving heart for lost loved ones.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Androphonos,
Who slaughters men who feel entitled to a woman’s body,
Who slays the deserving.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Pandemos,
Who blesses all people who seek her,
Lady of lust and love.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Pelagia,
Who was born in the womb of the sea,
And from it sprung fully-formed.
Who was led ashore Cyprus
And there was her holy temple built.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Philomeides,
Who is love bubbling within the chest,
Escaping in fits of giggles.
She is the love that warms the body.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Praxis,
The embodiment of sensuality and sexuality,
Striking down those who dare to call the sexual dirty.
Glorify the name of Aphrodite Ourania,
Lady of the heavens,
Who keeps her watchful eye upon her followers,
Swift of action when needed.
Glorify the name of our Lady, Aphrodite,
And she may give you a full life.
This looks beautiful💖🥺

MYCELIA - CARD ZERO
as card 0 of my oracle deck, MYCELIA holds ancient knowledge, learnt from millennias of experience. Rooting around in primordial dirt, MYCELIA is the cycle connecting life to death to life again. As both the beginning and the end of the circle, the place where two meet and become one, MYCELIA holds a multiplicity within and around itself. This card urges you towards connection, spiral-ity, the cycles of life, and to tap into the ebb and flow of energy all around you. This card serves as your reminder to acknowledge all you have done to get to where you are today. MYCELIA knows the journey was and continues to be hard. Despite this, MYCELIA knows you have the power within and around you to keep growing, exploring, and connecting.
As much as witchcraft amazes me, it also doesn't come naturally. Anything that needs belief, to me, is incredibly hard, be it religion, energy in general or magic.
But it still amazes me, the way fire moves, and that some herbs help you heal, and that we connect to animals and plants, and that dreams sometimes give me little pieces of memories I have not yet made, and That Feeling you get in the middle of a forest, or in a field at night, or before a storm when the first lightning strikes.
Can I be a witch, even if I find believing in the power of magic is hard? Can my practice be held by the awe I feel, by The Feeling of magic under my skin, even if I don't trust it to change my life?
