Witch Safety Tip:
Don't burn cinnamon or cassia. I know it smells delicious. I know it has the cleansing power we all dream of. But cinnamon is a SEVERE respiratory irritant. Even if your lungs are healthy, it can cause lung scarring. If your lungs are less than flawless? Disaster.
That includes cinnamon oil.
Cinnamon scented candles are fine, because they're stabilized.
Heating cinnamon or cinnamon oil up is fine.
Just don't burn it.
Bonus Tip: don't put cinnamon on your skin. ESPECIALLY NOT CINNAMON OIL. We use cinnamon oil to strip varnish from furniture. Back in ye olde days of the 2010s, people mixed cinnamon powder with water to give themselves a facial peel. They peeled their flesh right off! Cinnamon can give you third degree chemical burns.
I created this spell for when I want to feel and radiate the energy of a fierce, magnetic, gorgeous, powerful and radiant siren. This is personally useful for when one experiences heavy stress, low self esteem, elevated anxiety, wants to impress, or seeks to feel their like best self.
A Glamour is a beam of energy cast around a being that can change the energy of them, or how that energy is perceived and felt by others. A Glamour can be used to attract or repel certain types of people or even particular individuals.
Cleanse your bathroom, particularly the bathtub, before even starting this spell. Any energetic residue will disorient the charming energy we are emitting.
Light the candle beside your the bathtub and place the crystals around you. Say or think the Incantation below with full focus and your complete true intention.
Add the aforementioned foliage to a sachet and start the faucet. Once running, submerge the Sachet in the water whilst mixing it in.
Finally, Step into the bathtub and soak in the energies of the spell and the allure of a siren. Happy Casting and remember you always were and always will be absolutely beautiful!
(Optional) A Friday or Waxing Crescent.

Looking for baby witch tips, let me know if you have any!
hey do you have these spiky guys lying around in your neighborhood?
they’re called sweet gum tree balls ((or witches burrs)) and they fall off of sweetgum trees that are native to eastern north america, the eastern mediterranean, and east/southeast asia!
these little guys can be used for witchcraft purposes in case you haven’t already guessed. they’re good for banishing negative energy, protection, making wards. etc. so next time you see some lying around outside grab em and use them in your practice!
Sometimes self care is telling yourself "this sucks and I don't want to do it, but it needs to get done before I can feel better" and then forcing yourself through it as an investment in your future self.
I drink water to try and remain hydrated and present in a situation, also touching stuff helps.
How do you stay grounded? ✨🥰
One of the things that really gets me when it comes to online witchcraft and magic spaces is how hard people push the narrative that beginner magic is dangerous. It really isn't. No demon is going to show up and suck out your soul because you accidentally summoned it. No deity is going to go out of their way to harm you. Most spirits can be dealt with using a basic banishing spell. It is extremely uncommon for witches to hex each other, but you wouldn't guess it from the fear mongering that goes around about it.
What IS important for beginner witches is learning mundane skills like discernment and critical thinking. Because when you're just getting started, the most dangerous thing you are going to encounter is other practitioners preying on newbies. Know how to spot grooming. Know how to spot cult-like behavior. Know how to read books critically. Know how to spot bullshit when you see it.
Have fun with beginner magic. Get messy. Make mistakes. Fuck around and find out. There's no need to be afraid of it. No one ever cultivated a craft or skill by being too afraid to DO.

I’m broke and legit have no money but maybe some of y’all aren’t ;-; this story broke my heart
“Hello, my name is Sharlene Pike and I am a black transgender person originating from South Africa and working as a receptionist/host. I moved to the United States 4 years ago alone and without any support, as my parents died in my home country when I was 18. Being a transgender black female immigrant places three discrimination barriers and makes it extremely hard to socialize and find a job to live properly. Nevertheless, I tried my best. I had been working at 7 different companies as a receptionist/host/waitress for these four years, but 2 months ago I lost my job. The reasoning I was given - ‘staff reduction due to COVID-19 complications’. I have been unemployed for these 2 months, but the reason I can’t start a new job is not COVID-19. In February, I was diagnosed with stage-3 esophageal cancer. I had no prior knowledge of my diagnosis as this type of cancer can be quite concealed, and I had only two or three weeks of eating discomfort before I had a medical consultation. The company I was working at had a special program to support staff members who need expensive surgeries or therapies, and I believe my diagnosis was the true reason I was reduced, since it happened just after I told my office I might need an extended medical leave. The sum I have spent on the medical procedures only to clarify the future treatment equals my 3 salaries. The sum I’m asking for is actually covering first 6 months of treatment and the cheapest drug - basically simply to have a chance to survive. I have no health insurance and I can’t take a new job because my health condition significantly deteriorated. The thing that I have learnt throughout these months is that it is very hard to get any, even basic medical help if you are transgender. The death rate of the esophageal cancer is about 30%, which is very high, and I ask you to help me to have a chance to survive. I tried to deal with everything without anyone by my side, but current circumstances left me with no choice but to ask you to donate and share my story. Thank you very much.”
this gofundme was started on june 19th, 2020 and as of june 30th, 2020 she still needs donations! i’ll reblog with the donation link in one moment.
