So, yeah, about my abscence. There's two reasons why:

1. My mental health and life situation — sadly, I can do nothing about it in a foreseeable future

2. Tumblr culture?? — I can do something, but I have to ask you first

Before I created this blog, I was sharing my art on a different website. I mean, on a VERY DIFFERENT website. Where likes had meaning and reblogs were frowned upon.

But I see how people communicate here, sometimes treating the blog space like a group chat or something. It's very sweet but can I do the same? I think, I'm too insecure for it right now... and yet I really want to reciprocate and engage with the community in it's comfortable way.

So, I want to make some changes for the people interacting with me and that's why I ask them (you?):

1. Should I just become more open on this blog? I don't think I'll be reblogging and posting other stuff that frequently, but this account will definitely stop being just a gallery...

2. Should I make another blog for interactions and everything else? Since I'm not sure people will follow an account that only reblogs stuff, I'll be posting my art there as well to make sharing other's posts more meaningful. This one will still serve as a gallery, but for the art I'm particularly proud about?

3. Change nothing. Leave likes, do crime. Maybe I'm just overthinking everything, I don't know.

The poll isn't really important, I'd like to see the opinions of people I know are interested.

Ordered for a special reconnaissance mission from Tiber Septim himself; Dram tries to adjust to Morrowind's blistering summer heat, as well as its fashion as he blends in with the locals! >:3

So I have no idea why, but for some reason I suddenly had no idea how to shade, or color?? XDD so it looks pretty awful to me, I feel like its just as bad as that Teldryn Sero picture I made earlier this year!

Still, I worked hard on it and I tried a few new things, and anything I try that's new, even if I think it looks awful I'm going to post! Progress and all that :p It was fun drawing Dram!

So, I'm very insecure with writing for some reason (never know where to finish) and because of that the entire story of this OC is just some ideas in my head I usually share in DMs with anyone who's interested. If you want, I'll gladly tell everything you wish to know in this way. Or I'll just start posting about her on this blog if I stop being so socially scared... Or do some big epic illustrations for these texts (both of which is kind of unlikely 😭)

But for now, have some very rough sketches and facts for the mood:

She had an Argonian bestie when she was a kid at Chorrol but sadly that girl's dad was VERY traumatised by decades spent as a House Dres slave. And Colo-Nordic society she was surrounded with wasn't much kinder to her race.

Fortunately, one day she stumbled upon another Dunmer who didn't deserve all that hatred. He was a friend of that amazing Emperor who had saved her city from the invaders when she was ten years old, so he couldn't be bad like those violent Dunmer who ruined their race's reputation!

(also that dumbass made herself an ordinator scarf for the first date thinking it will make Dram nostalgic. It made him remember how those ordinators killed and almost tortured him 😭 (yeah, exactly in that order))

The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard release day \quq/ and so, we did a lil collab with @cerviero <3 I missed drawing that dragon

Today is The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard release day!

⠀⠀The game came with a Pocket Guide to the Empire that confirmed the most iconic elements of TES lore, as well as the only official comic book, the cover of which I decided to redraw with the first full-fledged dunmer of the series (sorry, dark elves from the previous games, you didn't have cool pet bugs and ash masks).

They are almost the same height, but Cyrus is taller by just a few centimetres

While tonal magic is not a traditional art of House Dagoth, Tureynul's compositions are undeniably superior to those of his peers, and his mastery is as elusive as it is difficult to earn his attention. Immune to the concept of distance and length, he carved as far as Cyrodiil without impediment. From his etchings we learn the mighty lessons of multiplication and patience needed for awakening dreams.

I love it, but I'm glad the orcs stopped throwing children into the deepest dungeon pits in later games.

Pictured: Tom Jones, as seen in The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard. Although Tom Jones cannot be encountered under normal gameplay conditions, his model is in the game files. Its creation was inspired by Bethesda listening to a Tom Jones CD to stay awake while making the game.
