The fact that I finished it in almost 3 days without sleeping a bit says a lot. One of the best written plot ever which is more complicated than whole game of throne's family tree AND THE ROMANCE??!! THE YEARNING??! THE ANGST AND HEARTBREAK OMG I literally went through 5 stages of grief during watching it. How can I obliviate myself and watch it again ugh.

Why you should watch DARK

Guess who’s back to making a funky little ppt to convince you all to watch this show I’ve been obsessed with ever since it finished airing in 2020? 

Every single day I wake up and think about Karen Gillan as Lily Evans and start daydreaming about it all day long

So to sum it up, Regulus Black was indeed a Blood Supremacist but at the end, he realized his mistake and tried to make amends for it but somehow failed miserably. The purpose of fanon is to remind us that he did try to change. That he was ready to ditch his old beliefs for a new path. And the purpose of canon is to remind us constantly that he's a blood supremacist first who was groomed to worship pureblood ideals. Sirius realized it a long time ago but Regulus didn't. Not because he was just a coward, but also because he refused to believe that he was groomed. Both of them are true and it's quite sad.

Also, of course we care about canon. We've always had. Consciously or unconsciously.

"Villain and Violent, Infant and Innocent" is Regulus Black. He was juat a kid, a very impressionable kid who just wanted his parents to be proud of him, and at the end of the day, that's what we all want right?

Hate on Gabi all you want, but being told your entire life that somewhere out there is a group of people who are planning to invade your country and kill you, training from childhood to prepare for that day, actually being there when it happens, watching those people kill your friends despite your best efforts, then being beaten and imprisoned by those same people...

but STILL, when presented with another viewpoint, accepting that you, your family, and entire country were actually in the wrong the whole time and eventually becoming comrades is really fucking admirable.

It's currently 3 am here, I'm sitting on my bed, currently questioning my existence, wondering what on earth did that author sprinkled on their fanfiction to turn it into such masterpiece. I don't think I can ever recover from what I've just finished reading a moment ago. Holy shit, some Ao3 writers are just batshit insane. What the fuck do they eat in order to come up with a storyline like this??!!

That fic was just mind blowing, and now it's haunting me ugh. And the worst part is it's not even canon compliant but I don't give a fuck. I'll never be the same about gothic appetite and I will never look at Edgar Allen Poe's "Annabelle Lee" poem the same way ever again.
