If There’s One Small Event In Genshin That I Find Myself “getting Sweaty” It Has To Be The Short

i’m not yet done with the entire trailblaze mission of the recent update but m a n

fought him in battle the first time and lost but i am still too emotional to build my characters and to try again ƈ ͡ (ुŏ̥̥̥̥ ‸ ŏ̥̥̥̥) ु aventurine my beloved ƈ ͡ (ुŏ̥̥̥̥ ‸ ŏ̥̥̥̥) ु

i was hoping to save a lot for arlecchino’s banner knowing how botched my luck has been in genshin gacha since fontaine opened but my mind just couldn’t stop thinking about chiori and how much i really saved up for her (before knowing that arle will arrive at 4.5 okay!!) and how much i want to have her because of her dolls so i decided to check my limited banner history and pulled a 10-pull on a whim and oH MY GOD??!!!!?

BBG ACTUALLY CAME HOME WHEN I LEAST EXPECTED TO WIN MY 50/50 ₊*ˈ˚·(๑˃̶̡̢̥ ॣಐ ॣ˂̶̡̢̥๑)·˚ˈ*₊

i didn’t expect i’ll actually have it that easy (?) since i got nahida from the last banner (nahida was guaranteed because i lost my 50/50 pulling for navia) BUT SHE’S FINALLY HOME!! ₊*ˈ˚·(๑˃̶̡̢̥ ॣಐ ॣ˂̶̡̢̥๑)·˚ˈ*₊ the last time i was this lucky with my pulls was on ayato’s, yelan’s, cyno’s, and alhaitham’s first banners. after that everything just went downhill, i guess (except the guaranteed ones ofc).

her team animation is also so cool, too! (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧ so sleek!

now that i have chiori, my art department is complete (freminet is their youngest member). no elemental reactions, only art ¡¡¡( •̀ ᴗ •́ )و!!! i also realized that all of them are sword users (claymores are swords, after all?) so exploration-wise, this team’s also bad, but i can always work around that for the love of my weird team comps (4ggravate is probably the least weirdest of them all).

i’ve yet to level her up more and build her more because i need some fodder to feed the artifacts i have for her and more adventure books, too, as i’ve spent them a lot recently on nahida and layla (for my shatterbloom team, ofc. anything for kaveh, my love and my light) before i send her to battle, ofc. her split scaling still confuses me, but i’ll learn it well eventually, ofc. it’s too bad that the only weapon i have suitable for her because of it’s defense substat is the traveler’s handy sword. it’s also somehwat fashion impact (i credit jeikage for that one) on her, thankfully.

oh, and besides getting chiori in her banner, i also managed to pull my favourite husband in a single pull while trying to get her (TvT \)

my kaveh is now C1, and though it’s not impressive for all, it’s alright because all i want as a casual genshin enjoyer is to complete my favourite husbands’ constellations (for the four stars ofc, like kaveh and thoma) unless they’re five stars because that’s too pricey already (T^T \)

now i can proceed with the character story quests i’ve left since the highly emotional 4.2 archon quest! wuw.

the recent limited event in genshin reminds me a little bit of honkai's aetherium wars and man how i dislike aetherium wars with a passion (⊙︿⊙✿)

teapot times, fun times: husband realm 1.0 update

i’ve finally (forrealsies) reached that point in my teapot building where i’m happy with the facade of my mansion.

say hello to my first husband mansion! i really love the sumeru teapot realm the most (as a biased sumeru girlie, and because of the dreamy atmosphere it has with the falling leaves and all, and the pretty flowers that bloom and close depending on the time of day), but the liyue mansion is the most ideal for me in terms of filling in the interior with enough furniture to make it look homey and not too spacey.

the original plan was for kaveh to have one separate island for his work area, which i already finished a few days ago, but decided to forego that because of the weird teapot load that i’ve yet to understand (as a self-proclaimed teapot main) and work around with. i made a small workshop for him on the right side of the mansion instead. i figure he’s really the type to forget his meals when he’s in too deep at work so i figure, the ideal place for him to have an outdoor workshop setup is just a few steps away from the mansion, where thoma (who’s standing inside the mansion, ofc) can simply remind him to eat his meals.

and yes, i know they’re only pixels, but i think about these things in games. sometimes i wish i can normal about it, but this is my normal, and this will stay my normal. anyway,

the hot spring/bath area is located behind the mansion. this was also supposed to have its own section in the realm, but the purpose of baths is for cleaning and relaxation, and if they had their baths situated far from the mansion, then what’s the point of taking a bath when they’re just going to sweat right after, yk, from walking? i really wish i can be normal about it since they don’t sweat OBVIOUSLY as in game characters, but my design brain refuses to let things be. so we’ll keep the bath there, and well, it’s also practical for it to be just behind the mansion so they can simply go there anytime.

the left side of the mansion contains some of their food supply that can be stored outside, plus some wine (i realized that kaveh’s probably the only one who drinks in this realm since thoma is bad with alcohol, and wriothesley doesn’t really strike me as someone who’d enjoy drinking alcoholic drinks), and a cooking spot, too, for some outside quality time when the husbands just want to chill together.

of course, if kaveh gets his wine, wriothesley will also get his tea. (ृ ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ृ )ु

i’m thinking about finishing wriothesley’s training area before the week ends. hopefully i’d be able to do so, so i can begin working on the gardens and fountains that kaveh is gushing about in his teapot voiceline (ृ ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ृ )ु maybe i’ll also post the finished areas inside the mansion later.

natlan hasn’t been released yet, but i’m excited to see the teapot realm, and possible structures and furniture we’d get from it. as a teapot main.

in my (f)unemployment season (so far), which is both by choice and not by choice because i chose to resign, but i also got rejected in all of the job applications i’ve applied for so far (so far, because we still be looking, and it’s only been two weeks since my last day at work) so unemployed not by choice, but by circumstance (?). anyway, this did allow me to catch up on some stuff (besides cleaning my room since i was 15 so that i can sleep soundly and not wake up with a bad case of allergies), and by stuff, i meant the regular rotation of the games i play:

rushed the month-long animal crossing new horizons’ museum event to celebrate the museum and galleries month. we also have our national cultural heritage month on may so that’s another reason to go back and visit my acnh museum since i wasn’t able to do so in real life ƈ ͡ (ुŏ̥̥̥̥ ‸ ŏ̥̥̥̥) ु not even blaming work since part of my last responsibility as a resignee is to finsih and submit all the necessary paperworks and other requirements for clearance (or i won’t get the last of my salary, and the Lord knows i need those funds to sustain me while i go looking for work), but i digress. anyway, usually i do drop by galleries and museums when i can during may since most museums and galleries do have their entrance fees revoked the entire month as a way to encourage more people to drop by so i’ll just do that next year irl.

i’ve been playing acnh since the year it was released, and if there’s one place in my island that i still love going around when i’m done with the intended tasks for the day, it’s the kemeroot museum (my island’s name is kemeroot, btw). ofc i took screenshots on my switch. here’s my character as she crams the stamp rally on the last day.

i remember how i used to play this religiously on the year of its release, that i was able to amass around 2k hours of running around kemeroot, terraforming, planting, landscaping, renovating, and decorating but i’m still not yet done with the ✨final form✨ of kemeroot. i’ve yet to check the number of hours i have alloted for this game now that i’ve been playing it again frequently.

june and july are months of hydrangeas in acnh, too, so i intend to do a lot of photoshoots and redecorating in my island because i love hydrangeas irl and in games.

another favourite in-game activity for me is visiting the cafe inside the museum, too. it’s only in-character for my acnh character to enjoy coffee the same amount as i do.

i totally forgot about the 10-photo limit tumblr imposes on mobile so there’ll be another entry that centers on unsolicited updates about genshin and star rail. and here i am thinking i could type them all down in one entry 😭

once again i changed the tumblr names of my main tumblr and my sideblog, and i have come to accept that i may have username commitment issues.

now that i’m back in my childhood home, i’d like to say that after living in an apartment for rent, i’ve grown to appreciate my room since my teenage years because as much as i love reconnecting and seeing my friends from time to time, it provides the one quiet space i need when i badly need to recharge (as an introvert, and as a type 5 used to navigating life by myself mostly). i hope to keep this for as long as i can until i move out again (if there’s a need to move out again) because having that ✨one safe haven✨ is an underrated privilege that not a lot of people have.

(i do wish that for those who don’t have a place in their house where they feel the safest, you’ll be able to look for a space that you can truly treasure and make a safe haven out of.)

preservation girlie era begins

i thought it was going to be a repeat of my argenti pulls where i reached hard pity and emptied the jades i accumulated in preparation for his banner when i saw the erudition logo on my screen, BUT aveturine immediately showed himself right after himeko showed up on my screen ₊*ˈ˚·(๑˃̶̡̢̥ ॣಐ ॣ˂̶̡̢̥๑)·˚ˈ*₊ now, i only have to worry about getting his lightcone so i’ll just have to play religiously again for the jades. and for the new addition to my husband collection: aventurine (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧

i just want to remember that luck was on my side when i pulled for aventurine with jades enough for one 10 pull (ㅇㅅㅇ❀)

perhaps i’m really biased towards kaveh, but i want—demand—him to participate in a summer patch because i feel like it just suits his creative nature, and being someone who practices design and art, it only makes sense that he’d find the time (and budget, i guess) to travel around and enrich his knowledge and appreciation even more. yes, i’m probably just biased, which is why i toured most of the simulanka realm with kaveh.

(also, i could’ve cropped the genshin watermark on the photos, but i guess that’s just for another time. i do wish they can do something about that since hsr has an option to hide the game’s logo when taking photos. that said, i do think that between the three current popular hyv games, genshin’s camera option is the most optimal since it captures the scenery the way you last framed it, where as with hsr and zzz, i’d take a few minutes to set up the scene i want to capture just to get the desired composition.)

this summer patch isn’t really something that i was super excited about compared to the previous summer patches, but i really liked how the simulanka world was designed, especially with the origami characters of the forest of blessings! actually, it’s because of the realm itself that i kept on coming back every time i log in because i just like going around there and taking photos. in spite of feeling nonchalant about this, i do feel that sadness i always feel after summer patches because even in games, i am bad with goodbyes (T^T )

natlan patch is tomorrow, and i can already see how busy my week will be as a hyv games enthusiast (not sure if i should be proud of it because gacha is another form of gambling, and i play genshin, hsr, and zzz so what does that make me, right?).
