there is no higher praise I can give my current hyperfixation than a series of frantic mspaint doodles
last one tonight I promise
I know I haven't been posting much, I've been stressed about getting my comic episode finished and am in the middle of emergency home repairs.
So I'm taking a short break to do practice drawings with some of my characters. I want to get experimental with expressions and maybe do a few silly sketches.
More content soon!
bring back tumblr ask culture let me. bother you with questions and statements
Completed the "thumbnailing" stage. All 33 pages of my pilot episode have been roughed out.
The next steps will be sketching everything in higher detail, inking, then adding halftones.
as someone with a rabbit sona and several rabbit OCs I'm surprised I didn't feel motivated to make anything for Easter 🤷♂️
Very, very, VERY late raffle prize for @ironicsnap !!!

updated design for "Ann Ryeback", my protagonist's mother
This one's a bit long, so to help with the length I've decided to change how I present these updates.
This update was a doozy. Thanks for reading!
I'm basically finished with the model, a few lipsync textures just need some small fixes, I'm planning to add more expressions over time
webcomic dev update:
last night at 4 AM I thought up an ending to my story and gave my second protagonist some more importance in the plot
progress from today
following this tutorial to set up a 2D face rig
(wip)
making 3D models of all my OCs so I can make little animations, starting with "Soleek Belheart" (my D&D harengon cleric)
I had a long chat with some friends and realized I put way too much importance on what I share on social media sites. I don't share most of what I make outside of discord servers because I want everything I post to be "perfect".
progress on my original projects has been lax since I wanted to built up a "sizable following" before revealing my original works and putting more focus into them. having people see my work is certainly something I want when I make something, but I should also be doing what I want regardless of how it may be received.
if I have a sketch or WIP I'm going to post it on here and a few other sites. I'm also going to start sharing more development updates on my "ForgottenKind" webcomic including designs and concept art.
I'm starting to understand I shouldn't JUST be trying to "gain a following". I should post for the three or four of you out there who are eager to see anything I make regardless of its "quality". I see you, and I appreciate you. it's time to let go of my high standards and just post what I want to post.
more people need to be talking about Robot Dreams
