Cody, in one corner, throwing hands and going absolutely feral on a commando droid, releasing some pent up emotion via clanker violence
Crosshair, in the other corner, giving Cody the “can you just STOP FOR A SEC AND HELP ME” eyes
Was today real? We feel like we made it up. All Too Well: The Short Film is just as incredible seven months later, and today’s Tribeca Storytellers Talk with Taylor, Sadie Sink, Dylan O’Brien, and Mike Mills made us remember that all too well!

Ghost from the past Do you think how the last time Obi-Wan saw that face it was Cody giving back his lightsaber because I do

After this episode, all I want to talk about is Cody. He carries so much of all Obi-Wan with him.
He tried to negotiate with the governor and succeeded. Obi-Wan one would be so proud of him.
You could see the guilt he has over killing him.
" We make our own decisions. Our own choices. And we have to live with them."
His story is so full of tragedy and heartbreak. I know he probably won't find Obi-Wan, but I hope he finds Rex.
me deluding myself into believing that they pushed Bad Batch season 2 back so they could make Cody live and go find Obi-Wan on Tatooine and then show them together in Kenobi season 2 (which has not even been announced to be happening)
something i realized thats been driving me insane about this scene is the lighting.
look at him. he’s casted in orange light. his armor color from the war. the Mandalorian armor color for freedom.
as he sits there and disobeys the Empire, as he sits there and negotiates (after Rampart says word for word “we do not negotiate.”) and he’s painted in orange light.
as he sits there and proves that he’s still the person he was during the war- one of the best people, good to the bone- he is shining in his color. the Empire tried to take who he was from him with the chip, and they took his orange from him and painted it over with grey, but here he is proving he’s just as good and kind as he’s always been and here he is still covered in orange.
light and color symbolism you will be the DEATH of me
in my excitement for the bad batch s2 trailer i nearly forgot that the show is basically chronicling the end of the clones as they are replaced and, uh, retired.
it’s gonna hurt.
For such a dark episode, the colours of the animation are beautiful.
I think this is the moment Cody decided he was done. He sees the clone troopers leaving, numbers dropping. The Empire arriving with TK troopers to take over. While being led by a guy who just executed someone who surrendered for peace.
I don’t know what’s happening with his inhibitor chip, but it sure looked like he had his own mind made up at this point.
If your boyfriend has a giant robe of course you ask him to share it :D
me reading the percy jackson books in fifth grade: yeah that’s a normal age for them to go on all those insane quests
me age 21 seeing the percy casting and realizing that they were in fact babies: hey what the fuck
