sunday dinners at the burrow
It's been 7 hours straight that I've been writing ✋💀
For only 5k-ish words.........😭😭
Plz end my suffering
*Goose and Mav eating Breakfast* Goose: More toast, Pete? Mav: *looking at his phone* Why won't you call me, Ice? Goose: More toast, Ice?
I mean this whole scene—*cough* movie *cough*—was never really not gay✋🌝
my favorite icemav moment is right after Ice calls Mav dangerous for the first time and Mav goes “Thats right! Ice… man,” because in the pause Mav could not be more obviously checking him out. Like his eyes flick over Ice’s whole body and he’s touching his shoulder and then the “man” is so much quieter and like distracted
Like you can visibly see Mavs mind gay panicking
“Thats right! Ice *holy shit this guys so handsome oh my god and hes built too i can feel his shoulder muscles through his uniform and damn hes so tall and look at those legs for days oh my god*… man”
and then his tone gets much more flirty and he doesnt back out of ice’s space for a moment like
just a reminder of how Sam and Bucky first met
And Maverick's hands are always warm af
They call him Iceman because his hands are always cold as shit
reblog if it's okay for your mutuals to message you and create an actual friendship, not just interactions
I will never forget the day I discovered “wingmen” was already used as a euphemism for gay lovers before the Top Gun fandom got ahold of it.
Oh, but hey, it’s probably just a coincidence, it’s not like there’s any proof the cast or filmmakers were aware of this, by all accounts, obscure queer historical aviation romance. It’s not like the top half of the cover art mirrors a famous scene from the fil… wait…
“You can be my wingman anytime”
“Bullshit, you can be mine” indeed Tony Scott.
