Omg thank you! These are so cool! I love seeing the progression, and in my opinion they're anything but boring. But I do love anatomy so that could be partially why too.
How do you know anatomy so well? How did you practice and how do you approach the poses? I love your art btw, it's gorgeous.
thank u! anatomy has been a special interest since i was a kid :D my dads a surgeon and he would dissect stuff w me :D and i was pre med before i dropped out to become an artist lolololol
and im really lucky in that i basically get to practice art and anatomy everyday for work :D and i still practice in my free time, so i have just like a ton of anatomy books i read and reference and just sketch books full of hands and other boring stuff :,D
and what ive found really helpful in improving is working from live references or working from video :D keeps everything from looking too rigid

Vincent Hanna & Sam Casals - Part 1: 1995, October.
(AU masterpost)
Casals becomes pretty interesting in Heat 2 when he helps Vincent do stuff that... he is not supposed to do. He's Vincent partner. Some days will come where he will regret that fact.
I've been doing more paintings, the one of Jared is Gouache which is my first time ever using the medium. While Stellan is in oil paint
Apperntly I've been able to do this sketch for a painting I am going to try Gouache with.
I know I haven't posted in a while, so I might as well just show the few sketches I've done
Sketch for a painting
First time using charcoal in a long while.
I love that it doesn't shine from the light like graphite does.
WIP for now, for I'm only going to finish it tomorrow or sometime after that. Boris shall be in here as well, so until then I'll post this.
I'm slowly getting use to drawing Boris. Man idk why but Stellan is hard to draw sometimes
I absolutely love your The Terror oil paintings, and I was wondering if you could do a painting or perhaps just a drawing of Captain Crozier?
Thank you shane!! this will certainly be first of many
Sketch that will be painted in watercolor (I'm thinking grey scale, or if you would prefer than color, lmk and I can do that instead)
Along with the beginning of another set of studies this time from EP.5
Three, 10-20 minute studies of EP.3 HBO Chernobyl
Captain Crozier and Dr. Goodsir (portrayed by Jared Harris and Paul Ready)
Absalom Breakspear (portrayed by Jared Harris) W.I.P oil painting
Valery Legasov (portrayed by Jared Harris)
Tinted version of an old piece of artwork I did
Tinted black and white version of another older piece of my art
Black and white versions of some older art pieces I did

James Moriarty (portrayed by Jared Harris)
What will you do when his hand can't hold yours anymore?
