Shaykh Al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

“A person cannot be labelled ‘Intelligent’ until he’s aware of goodness and then seeks it and he’s aware of evil and then abandons it.”

“and advise each other to be patient and advise one another to be merciful.”

Every time you begin a new month ask yourself

(1) what should I stop doing

(2) what should I start doing

(3) what should I keep doing

the best thing I ever did was believe in myself

the ways were hard, somewhat

the sorrows collared my neck, as well

the townsfolk were harsh, somewhat

the death wish, I had, as well
