Not sure if this is the best way to post comics on tumblr but here it goes!
I’m usually very unsure about making and posting comics so I sat on it for a bit, but this is not the first time I have a Taylor Swift song in my mind that just gives me Sheith feels, and if you don’t think this man was indeed on his Vigilante Shit when he decided to explode some shit to sneak into a military quarantine facility for Shiro,,, then I shall change your mind uwu
We all know Keith would do anything for Shiro right ;) hope you guys like the intense stares and the fan service hehe
if you’re a sheith shipper and you want to think about the “i love you” line without also thinking about the “you’re my brother” line, that’s okay and ily. the brother line in no way should discourage you from shipping sheith, and it doesn’t devalue their relationship in any way, but it’s understandable if you feel uncomfortable about it for any reason, especially because it’s going to be considerable anti fodder until the s6 hype dies down.
if you’re a sheith shipper and you want to think about the “i love you” line in relation to the “you’re my brother” line, that’s also okay and ily too. the line is a testament to how close they are, and context matters. keith is telling shiro how much he values him in a moment where shiro is vulnerable and obviously not acting like himself. it’s objectively a beautiful moment. it’s the strongest and most explicit declaration of love in the entire series, and it’s even more powerful considering it comes from keith who tends to struggle with vocalizing his emotions.
at the end of the day, do whatever makes you the most comfortable, but keith loves shiro. that’s not up for debate in any way, shape, or form. it’s a good night for all of us sheith shippers thank you very much.
Shiro’s guiding light
they’ve been through a lot
He knew that Shiro’s days were numbered and his vitality would fade before his prime was over. He knew that Shiro had suffered when that stress was too much for his partner and they turned away from him. He knew that Shiro had forsaken safety and comfort for one last blaze of glory to achieve the dream he’d worked so hard for. He knew he may never see him again, and that every time he did, the clock was still ticking.
For a fiery, upstart, showoff with discipline problems, Keith has become one of the most compassionate characters I’ve ever seen. Despite his fear of abandonment. Despite what had happened to his father, and despite knowing that their time was limited, Keith never gave up on Shiro. He never encouraged him to abandon his dream or to give up.
Every time that Shiro faltered, Keith was at his side. Did he fear that each time might be the last? Did he fear that if he only let Shiro close his eyes that his dearest friend would leave him forever?
