Chapter 23? Perhaps posted in a reasonable time? Ayo?👀 also, guess who forgot to do a recap last time. I'll fix that eventually.
Guide!Au is a SAGAU inspired idea where the Player, instead of being seen as a creator, is seen as the only outworlder god who cares for Teyvat.

In the last chapter, [Name] woke up from their rest and looked over their room, not long later they heard whispers floating through the wind and Paimon explained the 'comprehend languages' setting allowed them to hear the wind. [Name] was stressed and simply decided to fall asleep, waking up within their serenitea pot.
They're unsure on if it's a dream or not but we'll find out.
"Hello. Who's back?" A voice rang from the top of the stairs and [Name] shrugged. Speak of the devil they supposed.
[Name] went silent for a moment, now petting the animal and scratching its sides. They realized they should likely give the pet a name, if the inhabitants of their tea house had yet to do so that was.
Might as well face whoever lived in the tea pot.

The wooden stairs of the building and second level of the building blocked their view of the individual, so with a sigh they stood up and gave the dog one last pat on the head.
They felt their bones click back into place and took a moment to pop their bones, the click echoing through the empty hall made [Name] wince, especially as the voice from above them spoke again "Who is down there? Are you Alright?"
[Name] let out a groan and stepped closer to the staircase, getting close enough to look up and meet absolutely gorgeous red eyes.
The red eyes widen and [Name] gave him a slight smile. Kazuha wasn't exactly a character [Name] used often but his design was absolutely gorgeous. His hair looked even better in person, it appeared incredibly soft and fell across his face perfectly.
However, [Name] wasn't a simp so all they responded to his stunned face with was a small wave. "Good evening Kazuha. I hope you're doing well."
Kazuha stiffened and straightened up before giving his own form a hello. "Hello there. I'm not sure we've met. I apologize for my shock, I wasn't expecting a new vessel, after all, Their Grace hasn't been calling for anyone in a while."
[Name] paused for a second. "Excuse me? Vessel?"
Kazuha raised an eyebrow. "Yes? Ah, are you from the new nation that The Guide visited? What was it… Sumeru?"
[Name] chuckled, a vague idea of the source of the confusion between the two. Each character who had seen them so far had been told they were some sort of God, Kazuha had no such misconceptions.
It wouldn't hurt anyone to lie? Right?
With a smile, they nodded. "I think so? The best way to describe it is that I was summoned."
Kazuha nodded. "You and I are alike in that case. I haven't spoken with them in quite some time, they gave me access to this place but I don't think I've ever even seen them…"
[Name] took a second, guilt flooding their mind. That was what they did, wasn't it? It was a passive way to raise friendship with characters they thought were interesting to see their story, however they had never truly spoken to most of those within their Teapot… except for Xiao. Speaking of which, where is their baby?
"I see. Are there many other people around here?"
Kazuha smiled warmly, taking a step down the stairs. "Please, come on up. Surely it isn't comfortable down there and everyone else are within their rooms."
[Name] thanked him and placing their foot on the first step, nodding towards the dog to invite the animal along.
Kazuha spoke up, "The Guide has placed him downstairs. I don't believe he can-" His words trailed off as the dog followed [Name] up the stairs.
"So," [Name] began "Do they have a name? The dog that is."
The Inazuman replied after a moment. "Most of us call him Post."
"Post? Where'd that name come from?"
Kazuha shrugged. "Well, he looks out for us. So we have Post, and there are two other dogs as well, one is upstairs and her name is Fence, the last one hangs out around the Adeptus's room and we call him Warden." As he listed out the names, he counted them on his fingers and paused at the end. "Though I suppose you could count The Adeptus as a guard dog himself."
[Name] chuckled, guessing he was likely referring to Xiao. "The Adeptus, huh?"
"That's what we call him. Saying his name gets his attention and he can be a bit much so I think you might want to meet the others first."
After being reminded that there were in fact others, [Name] nodded in response to end the topic and thought about their Teapot. Who all lived here again? Kazuha, Xiao… Thoma was one and who were the other two? Ah, right, Barbara and Yanfei. Oh, just the thought of the last two made [Name] feel a hint of guilt. Both had been on their team in the past and concern for their current social standing caused [Name] a spike in anxiety.
"You said the others here were in their rooms? Is everyone living here present at all times?"
Kazuha laughed. "Oh goodness no, we can go home if we so choose, we simply enjoy having an untouchable space to ourselves. Right now it's simply Thoma and I. Miss Yanfei had a meeting, The Adeptus prefers not to remain here much, and Deaconess Barbara is often rather busy."
"I see." [Name] was hoping Barbara wouldn't be free for quite some time in that case. The last thing they needed was the poor girl telling everyone that they were a god, like her older sister had.
Perhaps Yanfei on the other hand wouldn't be a bad idea. She was a lawyer, maybe she had some advice? [Name]'s face soured at the thought of the potential price tag to some legal consultation and shook their head.
"Are you alright?" Kazuha's voice drew [Name] back to the present and [Name] nodded.
"I'm good. Just confused on my situation."
"I'll do my best to spread some light on it then. Have you recently come in contact with a blonde traveler by the name of Aether?"
Well, technically yes, [Name] thought to themself and so they nodded in affirmation.
Taking that response, Kazuha continued "Yes well, I'm sure you've experienced pieces of The Guide's influence in that case. They travel with Aether, influencing his decisions and actions. They likely decided you were pleasant and wanted to be able to Guide you as well."
"The Guide seems like… a major pain if you ask me."
Kazuha muffled his laugh and raised an eyebrow. "And what inspires that impression?"
[Name] huffed. "Well think about it, you meet this person once and then they decide 'oh you! I like you!' And flip your entire life upside down! Think about it, you don't really get a choice in the matter, you just get dragged along like a puppet on a string, dancing and fighting. No choice in what you do and only at The Guide's beck and call." With a sharp pain of realization, [Name] faced the fact that they were in fact The Guide, and that they had indeed done such. Forced people into a life they likely did not wish for. Changed everything about they way the lived. Could they ever play the game again with this knowledge?
Kazuha, leaning against the railing at the top of the staircase, looked around and nodded slowly. "I suppose you have a point, you and Xingqiu might get along… why did you accept their call then?"
"... What?"
"Their call. Them calling your name from the stars, why did you accept it?" Kazuha paused and then got real quiet, a pitying look making it's way onto his face. "Did it make you?"
People could deny the call? "I-... What do you by it?"
Kazuha straighted his back and inhaled deeply. "Don't worry. Why don't why continue on? I'm sure Thoma would love to meet you."
[Name] paused. "No, I… I think I need to be heading home."
"Fair enough. Go ahead and speak to Tubby then, I'm sure I'll see you again and we can talk in greater detail."
[Name] leaned down to pet the dog who still remained at their side. "You be good, keep Kazuha company okay?"
A bark rang out in the room and [Name]'s face paled as the bark sounded less like a bark and more like "Absolutely! Stay safe!"
They stood up tall and waved a farewell to Kazuha, quickly descending back down the stairs and out the door.
Tubby gave their troubled face one look and with a sigh, [Name] found their world going black.
As their world came back into color, [Name] once more found themselves laying on their bed in Mondstadt, the sun shining through the window and into their eyes.
[Name] released a loud groan. Was that another effect of the comprehend languages setting?!
____________________________________
As [Name] returned to their place in Mondstadt, Kazuha had a pressing question plaguing his mind. How did they know his name? Especially when they never even gave him theirs.
○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
… Don't like this one, oh well.
If you didn't understand how this all went down/why. It'll be explained eventually but what I can say now is that there will be a lot more fun travel scenes whenever [Name] sleeps.

soon as fuck u_u..♡
between working 40 hr weeks, traveling, keeping up with the house, and studying, writing is rough... but seeing loona live and in person sort of revitalized my energy! the girls put on an incredible performance, and i caved and bought a ticket to another show ;-P
but yes, once i maybe... DON'T have 40 hour weeks consistently... i'll be back in a rhythm..! i have some things i'm holding onto, and i'll drop those when i feel satisfied with them all the way; i've been writing as well to the requests sitting in my inbox, so expect those too!
i'm sorry for disappearing, feel free to bonk me -_- make sure you're reading all the insanely good stories from my very talented colleagues in the meantime..♡
Hello! I really love the characters portrayed as parents(fluff/angst). I wanted to request parent headcannons with Jean, Ayaka, Barbara, and Yoimiya. Thank you!
A/N: Hi anon! Since you req more characters than allowed, I decided to go with a theme. Just to let you know, I plan on including aged up Barbara later down the road in another post with Candace, so keep your eyes peeled for that one. Anyway, enjoy!
CW: Male!Reader.
Kamisato Ayaka
The Kamisato bloodline is dying. If neither Ayato nor Ayaka will have children, it will extinguish completely.
Hence, Ayaka is not a stranger to the idea of having children. Her brother never pushed her towards the idea, letting Ayaka make the decision on her own. And she did.
Ayaka is all about doing what is hers to do. Being the face of the Yashiro commission means representing it not only with her looks, but with her actions and lifestyle as well. She already is considered a perfect woman among the common folk of Inazuma, so having an heir will make her the absolute role model for all to look up to. And Ayaka, having you by her side, will do her duty gladly.
There won't be a lot of fuss about making the child. Ayaka will just let you know she is ready and you'll do the usual stuff, just without protection.
It's going to be quite the stir when her stomach becomes visible, so much so that Ayaka will be overwhelmed for a while. Ayato will have to constantly swat away gift givers, seeking to earn his favor by using his sister.
It will be quite the affair amongst the other clans, especially if you're not of noble blood. But Ayaka's brother will do everything to let his sister be in peace.
Ayaka and you will be aiming for two kids, preferably a boy and a girl. Ayaka has an unusually good relationship with her brother, and she wishes her children to experience something similar.
If Ayato wasn’t overprotective of his sister before, he sure is now. Ayaka can’t go far from the Estate without protection. No, you don’t count. It’s not because he hates you or anything, but because you getting hurt means his sister getting hurt. So expect a samurai to walk a few dozen meters behind you at all times.
When walking out in the city, Ayato will hire a Shuumutsuban member to constantly be your shadow, in case anything happens.
Childbirth will be hard for your poor girlfriend. She isn’t of the most impressive stature or health, so recovery may take a few more weeks than normal. But she will be so happy once the painful part is over.
Most mothers see the early years as more troublesome than putting the kids out into the world, but Ayaka doesn’t share this view. She feels natural in this role, so it comes easily to her.
Because of her health, there will be a pretty substantial age gap between the kids. But Ayaka really wants to have two, and who are you to refuse her?
Besides showing up to social events in clothes made for her by other people, all Ayaka has to do is some paperwork from time to time. This makes for a lot of free time to spend with you and the little ones.
She really wants her heirs to have a childhood free from the turmoil of her upbringing, and she has a lot of cash, so they will be spoiled rotten. Ayaka also has trouble saying no to them, so you’ll have to step in as the strict dad kids appreciate only when they grow up. Fun…
You bet she’s going to appear publicly with the kids and you in tow, especially if you’re a high-rank bureaucrat. She won’t hesitate to show off how happy she feels in her new position!
Uncle Ayato is going to be the mischievous type. You know, the “don’t listen to your mother” kind of uncle. Besides spoiling them even more and teaching them gambling for money (and other things), there will be a lot of stories starting with “You know, when your mother was as little as you, she…”.
Despite his meddling, Ayato will make sure to keep the politics and its problems away from Ayaka. He knows how awful dealing with this kind of stuff is, and he will do his best to help her avoid that.
Thoma was helping while Ayaka was still expecting, and he isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon. It would be easier to name the things he won’t do with the kids. Every single activity is on the menu, except those involving strange substances or creepy people, with an emphasis on interacting with animals. It would be a shame if the little one inherited Ayaka’s fur allergies.
Poor Ayaka will have problems when the kids grow up and leave to do their own things. Please make sure to be there by her side!
Overall, Ayaka is a nine-out-of-ten mother by herself, but with others supporting her? It’s a straight 10/10.
Jean Gunnhildr
When Jean isn’t working, she likes to read books. Within the two genres she reads the most - romance and history - there are a lot of family themes. Jean always imagined herself in the described scenarios, wondering what she would do or say as a mom.
Yet whenever she closed her lectures, a sad realization dawned on her. She is too overworked to have time for children. Maybe, if she could return to a more idle lifestyle, but only after Varka returned.
When you came into her life, her neat order of it was all but destroyed.
You showed her that she didn’t have to work herself to the bone, as she could just assign the tasks to the right people to do. As resistant to this as Jean was at first, she managed to work that into her routine after a few weeks. You were always there to help her say no (or just say no for her), gaining the amounts of time she never dreamt of for her.
Jean quickly got to making her dreams come true. From simple picnics under Windrise to steamy kisses by the candle light, she wanted to give a chance to all her desires. Family included.
Jean has a little too of an idealistic image of a family. In the books they don’t show all those sleepless nights spent hovering over the crib after all. But Jean isn’t going to just throw herself into the ring. She’s going to get some advice from experienced mothers first.
She has a strange relationship with taking care of kids. You could assume she’s good at it, but then on the other hand Klee is allowed to handle raw explosive at the age of 8. Also, Jean is aware of the hard labor that is cleaning up after her, but Klee isn’t a typical kid, is she?
There will be long talks between you two about every what, when, where and all the ifs. When Jean will be ready, she’ll just say it. Your evening will be preceded with a long, romantic dinner under Windrise, just as Jean always wanted it to be.
Her work doesn’t require much movement (after your intervention of course), but it does bring about a lot of stress. But Lisa will be there to make sure your girlfriend won’t take up anything too difficult. Kaeya will complain less about his duties as well.
Barbara will be happy. So happy. She’ll make sure that her sister gets the best medicine and is being taken care of properly. Oh, and don’t expect to keep the pregnancy a secret. Because of Klee, obviously.
But still, people will be happy for Jean’s happiness.
With all the help she’s getting, Jean will quickly recover from the birth of her one child.
She may be a little oblivious, but she isn’t completely clueless. Jean understood quickly that having even one kid is a huge responsibility and an unavoidable toll on her mind because of the stress. She’s also worried about not splitting the love equally, as strange as this fear may be. So one kid it is.
Jean is going to be the caring, but hard-working mother. She’ll make sure you eat all the three major meals of the day together by one table.
Bonding is going to be a very important thing for Jean. Seeing as her own family fell apart before, she isn’t going to allow that. So expect a lot of trips, days out, hangouts and all other manner of bonding events.
She puts a great weight on education and grades, but she just can’t get mad at her child, whether they will be a boy or a girl. She has pretty substantial problems with saying ‘no’ at any point. You have to help her put her foot down from time to time, otherwise you’re gonna achieve Alice the Adventurer levels of parenting.
Jean has a lot of caring friends, so the kid’s not going to be bored or uncared for at any time.
Lisa lazes around all day, so she’ll be glad to help whenever she can. Be it entertaining the little one by reading or telling stories, giving them additional lessons on stuff they don’t understand in school, or just things like changing the diapers at their earliest phase, Lisa is on the case.
Klee was already jumping out of herself from excitement before the kid was born, so her heart is barely keeping up now. She is so excited to be a big sister! Lots of adventures will be had (involving live explosives, which causes a near heart attack in Jean every time she hears about the two’s travels by the dinner table).
Kaeya is going to get even more comically evil with the kids, even more than he was with Klee. But he’ll keep an eye out for what kind of people the youngling will be hanging around, and step in when the situation requires it.
Diluc and Diona will surely keep Jean’s child away from alcohol for as much as they manage. If Kaeya tries anything, he’ll get back home with a kicked backside full of arrows.
Barbara is like Klee, but more grown up and overall responsible. She won’t drag the kid around like the pointy eared explosion lover, but she will give them special performances, just for their ears to hear.
10/10, what more to say? Jean’s shortcomings are covered by you most of the time, and many others are always helping out. Jean’s child will surely grow up to be a good person with such upbringing.
Thanks for reading!
Oh my god, I’m scared, I’m begging for the endgame to be lip and y/n, I can’t bear to see a heartbreak
Tighnari & child!god!reader
PLATONIC
[TW/CW; swears, Tighnari has an OOC moment and lowkey panics about it, I writ this without any specific plot planned out.. it's very self indulgent-] [A/N; WHERE DID CLOSE TO 100 FOLLOWERS COME FROM? I feel like I should do something special to thank you guys, but I can't really think of anything specific that I could do, but either way, thank you, I do appreciate it ^^]
There had been a report of a Withering Zone recently.
At first, Tighnari had made a mental note of it, yet had decided to delay dealing with it, it was within a very small area and he had so many more pressing matters to attend to first. Now, within hindsight, he'd have to admit that was perhaps one of the dumbest decisions he had ever made. The Withering Zone had almost tripled in size and quickly became a hazard for both the forest and the wildlife residing within.
He had to do something about it, and quick.
Tighnari quickly gathered a group of capable rangers to accompany him and patrol the outer areas of the barren, corrupt land. Upon arriving, the area was so much worse than what he had expected, and by now, Tighnari was really regretting having not cleared up this area sooner. Tighnari could've destroyed the tumor just a bit earlier, and everything would've been just fine, instead of wilted, decayed, and most certainly toxic enough to leave ever-lasting damage.
Rushing into the withered area, Tighnari made quick work of any nearby monsters, shooting them down without hesitation, and began looking for the tumor. Hopping over crippled logs and dodging between various different types of flora, all having shriveled into a flimsy mockery of their former beauty. A bright crimson shone through a creak within a small cavern. Tighnari rushed in, hoping to find the tumor, or at least something that could be of use to him, only to find..
What the fuck.
Why the actual fuck is there a child in here?
Why do they look just like the creator?
And better yet, how are they alive despite literally LEANING on the tumor he had just been searching for?
______________________________________________________________
[ TLDR; Tighnari decides to ignore the Withering, fucks up, professionally panics, finds a child.]
[No guarantees that I'll write a continuation to this, even tho I have more ideas-]

I like the way you write. It scratches my brain in all the right ways. Anyway, how about something with Al-Haitham? I feel like he would be the kind of guy to just silently stalk you whenever you're in Port Ormos or smth

Al-Haitham is a man of logic and reasoning.
Love, by its very nature, is illogical. It is a fiery, passionate emotion— it will burn you from the inside out, and it will make you learn to love the pain. Al-Haitham avoids it like any mammal would avoid a wildfire: he runs, he hides, and he prefers it to be that way. Anything to avoid getting burnt.
What he didn’t take into account is that it’s easy to get lost in the flames when you’re in love. It’s so much easier to lose yourself when they consume your mind like a pyre.
Al-Haitham is a determined, obsessive man. He may have had no interest in you in the beginning, but that isn’t the case anymore, not when he can no longer think of anything other than you.
You stick out in his mind and you stay there. When he studies and does his research, you are there. When he tries to focus his mind on the matter at hand, he thinks of you. When he lies at night and tries to fall asleep, you keep him wide awake.
Al-Haitham tried to ignore it in the beginning— he tried to ignore you. He avoided any thought of you like the plague. If he allowed himself any moment, any reprieve, then you would swallow him whole. And as intelligent as Al-Haitham may be, he was not equipped to deal with you.
He had no reason to be like this. No reason to think about you all the time. You were ordinary. Painfully ordinary. If anything at all, you were kind despite his temperance. But that wasn’t enough for you to enrapture his mind like this— that was no reason for him to be unable to think of anything else.
The pain is like that of an infected wound; scorched and seared. It’s unbearable. He can barely take another moment, unable to understand why it’s you of all people. You haven’t done anything to deserve his undivided attention, and yet you have it regardless.
He wants to know why. Why you, of all people? He needs answers. He demands it.
Al-Haitham begins where any man like him would begin: figuring out everything about you. What makes you special? Why can his eyes spot you in any crowd, no matter the size? Why does your voice echo in his mind, why does he hear even when he's sleeping?
There had to be something. Any reason at all. Even if it was as small as the way you breathed, it would still be something.
Though Al-Haitham would never admit it, he keeps delicate watch of you. He takes notes of your little quirks, filling up page after page. Papers scatter his desk, now all about you: the way you walk, the way you talk. The way you move yourself, your little nervous habits. Everything.
He makes sure you never notice his presence, but he will always be sure of yours. He finds himself enjoying your peace, imagining himself the one walking by your side; he enjoys the daydreams a little too much, almost losing himself often enough for it to be worrisome.
He realizes it suddenly one day. It comes as a surprise. You had not done anything particular, only living as you see fit, but it finally clicked in his mind.
You had so many things about you. So many things to fixate over, so many things to indulge in.
You had such a beautiful smile. The way your eyes crinkled, the way they shined and glimmered under the sunlight; there was no other sight quite like it. And your eyes— your wonderful eyes. Al-Haitham could stare at them all day, never losing interest in the stars that dance within them, in the reflections they form. He's lost himself in you again, but he doesn't mind it this time, doesn't mind the scars or the smell of burning flesh.
You are the only one worthy of his fixation.
