i struggled so much drawing this lil guy. it’s only a sketch because i don’t exactly have the best grasp on albatross’s character design (and for flags characters i usually have to make my own color palettes and i wasn’t sure what to do), but i hope you like it :>

Concept: I like the idea of Dr Wollstonecraft and Chuuya being close.
Chuuya: Hey, Doc Stone! Im back, where do you want the shopping?
Dr Wollstonecraft: Oh just leave it out there. Thank you dear I meant to go and get it done but it’s all been a bit hectic around here.
Chuuya: Europole still giving you shit for the upgrades being late?
Dr Wollstonecraft: Even when I keep telling them it’s experimental and will take time to figure out. Never mind develop but it’s all in one ear and out the other.
Chuuya: Tch maybe they should do it themselves if it’s that easy.
Dr Wollstonecraft: Agreed. Though it’s funny you mention that because Percy said something along lines too.
Chuuya, grins: Oh Percy did, did he?

Akutagawa saved Atsushi on the boat by using the shirt off his back to.
Not with the coat that Dazai gave him. The coat that has become the main conduit of his ability and marks the day they met.
It’s not with him now and in choosing to save Atsushi, he forfeits any chance of victory and thus ever gaining Dazai’s approval.
So what Akutagawa does is manipulate the shirt off his back instead. He uses something that truly belongs to him.
Its not a lot but in that moment it was all the power he had. And while it wasn’t enough to save himself it allowed him to get Atsushi to safety.
When Atsushi saved Akutagawa at the airport he did so by using his own strength.
And not the tigers.
Because while it was available to him unlike Akutagawa, Atsushi knew that it would’ve shielded him from the blade.
When he needed it to strike him.
And so Atsushi pushes Akutagawa away with all the strength he has. It is not enough to save them both but it’s enough for Atsushi to take his place.
Both of them are rendered in a situation where they are forced to rely on their own power. It’s not a perfectly executed plan of attack.
It’s a last desperate attempt with no other option to be found.
The I may be powerless right now but if I have the power to save you then that’s all the strength I need.
By saying screw Dazai, Chuuya will probably take that literally.
But BESIDES THAT CHUUYA AND KENJI WILL BE A GOOD DUO
Thinking back to that interview with Asagiri a bit ago, where he mentioned how Chuuya slowly overtook Kunikida as Dazai's partner since he became so popular, and it got me thinking. Because while I love skk as much as the next person, Chuuya on his own is such an interesting character that I don't think his interactions need to be solely limited to Dazai. One thing I love about Stormbringer is how many new, different characters we got to see Chuuya interact with, apart from just Dazai. I don't want to see him replace Kunikida, I want to see him interact with Kunikida (not just that one scene). I want to see him team up with other members of the Agency, like Atsushi, or Kenji. I want to see him with Akutagawa, since despite how much people assume things about their relationship, we've only ever seen them interact with each other in one freaking scene. And it wasn't even the manga, it was the movie (there are the drama cds, of course, but those are questionably canon). It's possible for anime onlys, there may not be as much to his character outside of Dazai, but as someone whose read the lns, I just feel like his character is interesting enough on his own, and I hate that he's always reduced to being one half of skk, as opposed to Dazai, who is seen as more than that. Basically what I'm saying is, let Chuuya interact with the rest of the cast! Screw Dazai! (with love)

people do not have to put their entire life online, especially when it comes to symptoms that make them feel negatively in some manner.
so, do not assume that just because you do not see struggle online automatically means that person does not struggle.
like with us, for example. there's so much negative stuff that we do not talk about on tumblr, or even on discord.

Gin didn’t think she’d ever seen Tachihara shocked before. He mostly spent his time sitting in the corner, polishing his pistols and looking grumpy. When he did have something to say, it was usually a complaint about Higuchi slacking off or Hirotsu smoking indoors.
“Does it really matter? It doesn’t change anything. I can keep up with you any day of the week.”
He almost looked…disappointed?
“Of course not! I’m just…I mean, it doesn’t matter or nothin’.”
The redhead turned away slightly. His face was a bit red.
“Is it because we’ve slept in the same bed? You don’t have to be embarrassed about sharing a bed with a-“
“It’s not fuckin’ that, ok?!”
Tachihara took a deep breath, fists clenching and unclenching at his sides. “Let’s just drop this. Like you said, it doesn’t change anything anyway.”
Black eyes narrowed as she scrutinized him. The slight shifting of his weight, the kicked puppy dog look his was so good at…curse those stupid, obnoxiously bright eyes that always seemed to…follow her…oh.
The corner of her mouth tilted up.
“Do you have a crush on me or something?”
If looks could kill, Gin would’ve been a corpse on the floor. Actually, if he wanted to kill her in general, she’d be a corpse on the floor.
Gin was strong. Fast. Silent and deadly. One of the top assassins in the port mafia. But she was also perceptive. She knew not to underestimate an enemy. Or an ally.
Tachihara had good reflexes, but he was holding back most of the time. He bitched and moaned and tattled on her to Hirotsu, but when it came down to it, he was an effective fighter. And despite how closely they worked most of the time, none of them really knew much about him.
“…oi, are you even listening?!”
His words snapped her back to reality.
“Huh?”
“Jeez, this is why you piss me off. I said that I…” he trailed off, looking away again.
Probably for the best anyway. The emotion in his eyes was always so intense.
“…I thought you were, y’know. Like me. Or whatever.”

Her eyes flickered down to the triangle of black fabric peeking out past the collar of his shirt. Oh.
“Wait, you thought I was trans?”
“Tch. Is it really such a stretch? I mean, you use like, guy pronouns. And you bind or whatever,” he grumbled with a dismissive huff.
Despite that, the slight hurt was clear in his eyes. It made sense. He’d thought that she understood him in that sense. And though it wasn’t her fault, she couldn’t help the guilt that washed over her.
Curse those stupid eyes.
“Look, Tachihara-“
“I already said it’s fine, yeah? I’m sick of talking about this.”
He turned on his heel, stalking back to his usual corner of the weapons warehouse.
“So what? You’re ignoring me now?”
He shot her a glare over his shoulder.
“I gotta fix my left gun. The trigger is a bit sticky.”
She watched as he plopped down, aggressively fiddling with the metal. He kept glancing over at her. The steel pipes holding the florescent lights creaked above them.
“Michizō-“
“Just leave me alone.”
The light flickered slightly. And if that wasn’t a sign.
“Alright. Fine.”
Her heeled boots clicked on the ground as she walked away. One last furtive glance back revealed him still staring at her with those fucking eyes.
Then, the metal barn doors slid shut.

Ok so I’ve always wondered about Shirases relationship with the other Sheep members and it’s stated that he cares for them but one scene specifically makes me wonder how he really treated them
As we know, Shirase seems to have some form of anger issues, he is way to ready to scream and betray chuuya the second he thinks they’ve been betrayed
One scene with Yuan and him comes to mind when I think about how he treats the others
The arcade scene, after Chuuya leaves with dazai both him and Yuan look angry, him more than her. He then kicks over a bin and screams while cursing, and what does Yuan do? She whimpers and curls up while covering her ears
I really want to know how he treated the others, because Chuuya may have been the strongest but Shirase I think was the oldest
