i have a very specific thought that i think you might like because it’s kinda outside the box 👀

you know the way sirius feels when he’s back at grimmauld place after being away for the whole year? or worse, when he’s trapped there by someone else’s orders? that’s the way sirius feels about being a vampire.

he’s centuries old, ancient one. his whole family is and doesn’t matter how far he goes, they are still always there. not in his blood, obviously. but in the fear of other vampires he encounters. in the tales from old towns that still carried the myth of vampires. in the chilling nights that he’s force to lie awake night after night.

until one day he finds her. and it isn’t her blood that sings to him, but something deeper than that. something in her soul.

and sirius, strangely, feels seen for the first time in his life.

i had to suffer through hazel hayes’s book “out of love” (which i highly recommend reading by the way, bring tissues) so obviously had to make it blackinnon so we could all suffer together 😇

a blackinnon story told in reverse: from the heart achingly lost of her life to the very beginning when they started to fell in love.

bonus points if near her death they closer to breaking up o they were already apart.

Sorry I'm still obsessed with Sirius being the mature friend of the group. The "you guys don't understand the extent some of these supremacists will go!" guy. And also the, "Stop drinking like you're a teenager. Drink like civilized people!" guy. All of this is to James and Lily who are throwing themselves thoughtlessly into battle and then getting absolutely hammered on the expensive booze Sirius shares with them.

It's advice that James and Lily take very seriously. The next time they see him, they admit that he's right and tell him they're going to have a baby.

And Sirius is like "THAT IS NOT WHAT I MEANT."
