guys listen listen listen im going insane about the artist attention to detail with their designs holy fucking shit man look at them look at them they genuinely look like fraternal twins and the children of their parents in actual character structure, not just colors holy fucking Shit.
Emizel has Jeffrey's hair color on top but the Queen's hair color closer to the roots where his undercut is. Emizel also has Jeffery's eye shape and the Queen's eyebrow shape!! He has the Queen's cheek bone and jaw shape but Jeffery's chin shape, and he also has Jeffery's overall mouth shape with the stern flat line.
Shilo has the Queen's eye shape and Jeffery's eyebrow shape. He has the Queen's cheekbone and chin shape, but Jeffery's jaw shape. He also has the Queen's overall mouth shape, with the little bow in the center. ALSO!! VERY TINY DETAIL!! but where the light hits jefferys hair and eyebrow in the upper left, its the same golden shade as shilos hair!!
and then on both of them, they both have the same nose, with the Queen's bridge shape but the fathers nose tip shape.
You thought it ends there? No Sir!!!! Even their body structures match!!! Emizel has the Queen's body structure with wider shoulders and hips and narrower waist in a general hourglass silhouette structure, while Shilo has Jeffery's general body shape with the broader/rounder chest and straighter narrower hips providing more power and definition to the upper body
Anyway, to the artist - you did a fantastic job I love them Dearly so so much,, if im Correct in these observations that so fucking cool of you incredible skills there im devouring it,, if im Not Correct then my apologies im simply utterly insane about this show and their designs and im searching for enrichment

2 things.
First: HOW DO I DRAW HANDS (I ask this to literally every artist I follow this is nothing new)
Second: what helps you get through an art block.
I made this for my caricature trainees. Anything is easy to draw once you figure out the simple shapes.
As for a block, I just scribble through it and draw aimlessly. Doodling stupid things, just letting my hand work. Life draw pedestrians, animals ect. Anything but take a break. I draw everyday, even if it’s just circles and scribbles. Gotta keep the muscles in tune.
GIVING C!TOMMY AN ADDICTION WAS ACTUALLY A FUCKING INSANE CHOICE BUT ITS SO GOOD
naur bc of course they used invisibility. OF COURSE the chosen substance literally covers all of his trauma. can't be seen, can't be chased. he can spy and brew potions like he used to do in lmanburg days. can't cause problems if he can't be seen. he feels strong. in control. like he can't be touched, even. do yall see how fucking genius this choice was
god DAMN this was a dangerous move but holy shit is it a good one like it's such a realistic direction for c!tommy to pivot to. he's probably been living under crazy stress for the past YEAR (yes. dream escaped prison a year ago), especially since the whole stunt with the disc under his house. if he can be seen, if he can be located, he can be trapped. he can be ambushed. of course he would turn to something that makes it impossible for anyone to get ahold of him unless he wants them to. not being seen, when it feels like someone is always watching you, is obviously one of the few modicums of control you could get back over your life when the person that's always watching is seen in your head as an unstoppable force. it was an absolutely insane choice, and they could have moved to drug use in ANY capacity and it would have made sense, but SPECIFICALLY INVISIBILITY was such a good move on cc!tommy's part. he's a genius for that one and thats the gospel truth

I haven't been very active recently, but today I wanted to make another post related to (fantasy) world building. You can check my post about making a character encyclopedia here, or my other post about making an imaginary country.
Now, onto today's theme:
World building: making a religion
That's right! Religion is an important part of human history and - whether you are or are not religious yourself - you might want to give the people in your country or fantasy world some sort of beliefs or religion.
Today I created my very first imaginary religion and I wanted to share my creative process.
As I did with my country building guide, I will shorten the explanation to four simple steps in order to get started and set the basic traits of your religion. Here we go.
1. Type of religion (general traits)
Before anything else, you must think about what kind of religion you want it to be. These are questions you can ask yourself to get started:
Will it be a monotheistic or polytheistic religion?
If polytheistic, how many gods/goddesses are there? Are they arranged in some sort of hierarchy? If so, make a small diagram to organise it.
If monotheistic, is the god/goddess omnipotent? Are they limited by anything? Did they create humankind and the rest of the species?
Is there any kind of sacred texts, similar to the Bible or so? Or is it a religion transmitted orally?
Is the religion centered on any particular aspect of life (e.g. death, chastity, knowledge...)?
Are there pastors or any kind of religious guides or leaders? Or do the people speak directly to the god(s)/goddess(es)?
Does it give any explanation to what happens after death? Is there some sort of Heaven? Do they believe in Hell?
(I recommend thinking of a name, too, but this is not mandatory.)
2. Develop the ideas written before
This might seem obvious.
For polytheistic religions, try to describe as much as possible about every god/goddess. You can take inspiration from actual religions (always being respectful, of course) or ancient mythology. For instance, I decided to base the religion I created on spirits and natural elements (water, earth & forest, light, night and wind). Give the gods and goddesses some recognisable symbols.
Establish some basic rules, too. Here are some prompt questions.
How strict are the leaders of the religion (if there are any leaders at all)? Are the believers required to do anything in particular in their daily lives? Will there be any punishment if they don't do it?
Are there any forbidden foods or drinks?
Do they have any specific celebrations? Write those down and briefly explain them.
What are some of the legends, myths or stories that are part of the religion?
3. Branches
Of course, this is optional, but it is very likely that a religion will eventually split into different branches or groups.
I would recommend establishing which branch is the most important one. Then you can invent as many smaller groups as you want. Explain why they differ from the main branch of the religion and if they are considered to be a cult by the rest of the community.
Again, here are some more questions you can get inspiration from:
Are they a pacifist group or do they attack other believers/apostates/atheists?
Do all branches live peacefully or are they constantly at war?
What names do these branches receive?
4. Integrate the religion in your world/country
Now you have a solid idea of what your religion is like. It's time to integrate it in your fantasy world.
How powerful are the different branches of the religion?
Have they caused any wars or revolutions? Have they succeed in defeating their enemies?
Did the religion expand across other countries? To which ones? Did they make any changes to it?
yay jrwi origins comic yaaay
A bit old now, over a year and a half ago now haha, but since I did one of these for Zephyrus and A Sadness Runs Through Him, I figured it'd be cool to do one for creature too. So here are my favorite frames from creature :)
another. sceen from @leafcabbage ‘s fic (i have no impulse control and cant stop drawing it)
would you still love me if i was rendered in increasingly abstract ways to imply my progressing sense of disconnection from humanity
