That specific sickly, weird, mottled green color that appears when two mirrors are reflecting each other into infinity is so fucking beautiful… I love you weird nasty green of the aether….
It's sad/funny to me how some people are so aggressive/mean to Prince. Either because: 1. You are being mean to This (floral baby fuck).
He was born three minutes ago. Give him a sec. 2. The man has never uttered a single mean word towards the player, unlike Pebbles or Spinning Top. He's even incapable of getting mad with the player even though he Should, like Moon. Whatchu saying fuck him for? 3. What he's doing is Literally the same thing that the Iterators were meant to figure out and commit as well (or just in that same vein. also mass """murder""" [ascension =/= death tho]). If one hates him for the Rot spreading across the ripples and making the lizards and shit yelp, then by logic all Iteratorkind should be despised as well for their potential And fabricated destiny/purpose to do the same.
And the Ancients, but they are already mostly despised in the fandom anyway. And the entire point of the dang game/the game itself, but I won't talk about that. Boring old conversation.
4. The presumed fact is that everything would eventually end up like rotted through even if he didn't appear. Because that is how the existence works over there. That's the Cycle on a large scale. It's probably slow and painful- constant deterioration. Here it still sucks, yes, but it's quicker and he had his eyes on an out for everything that the Cycle doesn't have (most likely). There was a planned end with him that he failed to reach (presumably, I'm 99% positive), not infinite torturous looping.
5. The Prince is the perfect means for showing what this world's spirituality is about. He's absolutely Amazing and mindfucky and I love how he addresses the large scale of the world as a story device, while Spin addresses the very intimate and personal of a sapient creature Within that world. Just for how great he is for exposition I can't be personally pissed with him. 6. ,,He's annoying to get to." I recommend doing a Spearmaster all pearls run without any passaging shenanigans. Just walk to a pearl and walk with it back to Moon. As so, the bar for annoying returning to an NPC should be raised and the Throne will be more mentally and emotionally acceptable 👌

Do u know what's DISGUSTING? It's when you have to remove insects from the only loaf of bread you're allowed to eat each day, but to make fun of ourselves, we call these insects "free protein." And as the saying goes, when you're hungry, your mind shuts down. Now I cover my nose when eating a loaf of bread so I don't smell it, and I avoid looking at it so I don't see the insects...
But that's not important, there's worse. Malnutrition is starting to affect my 6 y.old sister, as intestinal worms are eating away at her body from the inside out and destroying her health. So, I'm appealing to you all to donate so I can buy a clean bag of flour for $570 and provide treatment for her. She's slowly dying... Or by paypal

Words cannot express how much the Rainworld Watcher DLC means to me. They cannot express the amount of love and joy I have being able to experience this game for the first time again.
It was 7 or 8 years ago when I originally stumbled upon Rain World, growing somewhat in love with what I saw through Markiplier's (very short and limited) gameplay. It was stuck in the back of my mind until 2019 rolled around and I started seeing it around again - particularly in Icey's multiplayer playthrough (a series I frequently rewatch and hold dear to me). 2020 was when I would finally get the game for myself, soon beating it after over 50 hours of gameplay.
Having been roughly 5 years worth of obsession, I played through this game to its fullest and took in any and every video I saw as well. It got to the point where I could probably beat the game in pitch darkness due to my memory of the map - which I've been doing recently, actually.
This game has been the core of my personality for these past few years - I had bought dozens of copies of the game for friends, just so I could have people to talk to about it. If people had questions regarding lore, mechanics, or the story, they would go to me and ask me questions about it. It feels so good seeing new people get into the game with so much wonder and curiosity, something I had so desperately missed from when I originally beaten the game.
Rain World Downpour was great to see, but it didn't feel entirely *new.* The regions were mostly the same, taking place in different points in time, and the gameplay loop felt similar to what I had been used to. Not to say this was bad in any means, it was great, actually! Just something I was used to.
But The Watcher. Ougdhh... The Watcher. It felt like I was truly playing the game again for the first time, as I had absolutely no idea what to see or expect within the lands I traveled to and from. There are dozens of new creatures I keep discovering, tons of different foods and mechanics I didn't even consider being a possible addition to this game. I had gotten two of the endings so far and bawled my eyes out when I woke up thinking about it. It was so, so fucking good.
The fact that I can now sit with the friends I got into Rain World in the first place and actually discuss what we're seeing and what regions we're currently in?? The fact I'm discovering routes and enemies for the first time again, actually being able to *ask* questions, rather than just being there to answer them. It's so, so fucking impactful for me.
Also, the fact I've gotten two of the endings so far and there's still at least one I haven't seen or heard? The fact that my friends are still bringing up things they have seen and interacted with that I haven't even witnessed once?? There are flora, fauna, and entire fucking regions I haven't even looked at yet because of how massive this DLC is. It is. Amazing.
