musings watcher got too much pigment. their sibling didnt get enough

new sliver of straw theory: she went up

moon isnt actually conscious in the watcher, i checked and there isnt any flower in the hunter's deathplace. meaning no slag reset. the watcher's strand of reality isnt one that happened in the actual material world as far as i can tell, just an imagined "dream plane" (like moon mentions in the karma flower dialogue). one that never truly happened in the 'collective' plane

watchie spoilers (plot/lore, worldstate)

i just wonder how watcher!moon felt, realising that the rot was going to continue spreading everywhere, outside of pebbles' control. like nilla!moon definitely has some very complex emotions towards him (& herself). i get the impression that she's angry, worried, afraid... and of course we know how msc!moon feels towards pebbles.

but watcher!moon... imagine what an awful realisation that would be? and such an awful position to have that realisation in. she's already collapsed, already lost most of her memories, already afraid of dying whether by wild animals or by the rain or just sheer bad luck. and then the rot slowly spreads into her chamber, absorbing her environment, the last remnants of her can ... and knowing it's probably already taken pebbles? her brother?

ive seen people do a sort of "swap" au like this before so i wanted to do my version. worlds worst test subject
