What if you're BAHRAIN GEORGE driving on 16 LAP OLD SOFTS , no TRANSPONDER, no STEERING WHEEL, DRS opening when you try to use the RADIO. and there's a mclaren up your ass.
the best solution to a creative drought is always the most radical one :)

This vid would never not make chuckle the twink on twink violence “vettel what a dark day for him the darkest of his career put in the wall on him home track 😬 “I’m crying Nico was one step away from saying seb kys
thank you for the list of charles analysis media!! if you’d be willing to summarize the ideas from the race podcast episode that would be amazing 🥹
they first mentioned his one lap pace obviously and how he is in fact arguably the fastest (and maybe of all time) they explain that he has something special that most of the other drivers don't have which is basically: god given talent lol
he has so much innate talent that he can't explain or put it into words but it allows him to feel the car to the most insensible degree and that's how he can push it brilliantly to the limit that physically to us seems impossible but he is also very confident in his ability and that's why he's often called a "high commitment driver"
they bring up his famous throttle overlap party trick and how it does not and should not make sense and in fact theoretically if you have some throttle applied while you're braking that logically should make you slower but not him he somehow just goes faster because once again: god given talent. he can feel the car and he can do these things that are incomprehensible to the average f1 engineer and it is why despite ferrari trying very hard to teach this to their other drivers they will and have never grasped it because it is so difficult to achieve and it's basically making your life more complicated and anyone else would put it straight into the wall as a result
another thing they also highlight is his engine braking which i think this is more of a ferrari thing because carlos used to do it as well but charles especially excels at it and he does it frequently enough to warrant a few raised eyebrows because once again why would you do this you're literally hampering yourself you're destabilizing your rear just to induce crazy amounts of rotation to the front but anyway not charles leclerc
most interestingly when they compare him to other drivers and especially max they mention something i have always thought of as well - which is that max is talented but he has a lot of technical knowledge that he applies to his driving. whereas charles operates mostly on natural ability and yes he of course also has a lot of technical knowledge as well which is not to be underestimated but the point here is charles has a lot and a lot and a lot of natural ability he was born with that most of these other drivers have to work extra hard to nail
and it is why he is so freakishly adaptable to whatever car you put him in whether they are season to season ones or literally new generation cars - he will be the first to adapt. just like we saw in 2022 and they mention by example how he adjusted his braking style in testing as opposed to carlos who had to take some time to adapt
yeah that's pretty much it i tried my best to summarize it with some added waffle so hope you enjoy
for x, @xiaoluclair, the funniest person i've met thru f1blr

i aspire to be like george russell. imagine going:„yeah so this guy was annoying me real bad so i kinda crashed out and committed several crimes bad enough to warrant a drive through penalty and now i‘ll make the guy i committed the crimes against buy me dinner about it“
and the other guy actually doing it? incredible. what an absolute diva.

I can somewhat understand the crash out about Oscar being near passing Charles' career wins. I really do. He is a talented driver. This stat only shows how incapable Ferrari is to give Charles a competitive car so that he can have more than 8 career wins to show for his talent.
But also, this is not a spec series with equal machinery. The talent has never been the *only* deciding factor. There are other talented drivers who are/were also talented and capable of fighting for championships if given the right car. The team matters. The car matters. (ask alonso)
Charles has had the opportunity to ditch Ferrari on multiple occasions. He wants to be the Ferrari champion, which is admirable. He knows the shortcomings of the organisation. Still, he chose to extend his contract every single time rather than moving on to a team that can give him the competitive car.
I think it is about time we collectively accept that he doesn't want to be a champion if not with Ferrari.
Don't save Charles, he doesn't wanna be saved.
