The FIA and race control are such a consistently negligent entities. The last fatality in f1 was because there was a truck lifting a crashed car on a wet track. And yet here we are years later with the benefit of hindsight with marshals and trucks on a wet track with freshly painted lines and the drivers are going around instead of red flagging the race for a couple of minutes. It's genuinely astounding.
the only person who had a worse race than ferrari was oscar piastri – and when the leaderboard listed him as 'out', he reversed out of the grass and got back on track. he was not going to DNF at his home race without the stewards physically wrenching a front axle from his hands.
oscar piastri is a goddamn phoenix, and he will rise again and again and again. i love charles, and he is il predestinato - but oscar being a champion is not even predestined. it's literally inevitable.
James: the whole reason Toto and I were yelling at each other was because of how loud it was in the pit lane. We were talking about how to make the race better
Toto:
.... Fully unhinged David Coulthard telling Lando Norris on the PRE PODIUM INTERVIEW that he smells good. Another absolute banger

everyone says that the Monaco Grand Prix is the worst race on the calendar and maybe it is but also which other race could bring out the absolute worst in George Russell like that??
"̳I̳ ̳C̳̳A̳̳N̳'̳T̳ ̳P̳̳U̳̳S̳̳H̳ ̳N̳̳O̳̳W̳" glad to see that Fernando Alonso didn't overreact or anything
beautiful to see Pierre Gasly embrace the Italian culture by threatening the driver who impeded him like an old school mafioso
